Maheshwari families
Sanskar Maheshwari: a caring brother, who is deeply in love with a girl who he hasn’t even seen. Loves his brother Dearly. Older brother of Ahil.
Ahil Maheshwari: a flirt. Opposite to Sanskar. Flirts with every girls who he sees. Doesn’t believe in love and thinks love is just time pass.
Najma Maheshwari: sister of Ahil and Sanskar. Loves her brother a lot and can do anything for them.
Dilshad Maheshwari: mom of Ahil, Sanskar and Najma. Gets emotional very easily.
Durgaparsad Maheshwari: Husband of Dilshad. Strict but soft at heart.
Dadaji: father of Durgaparsad. Thinks Ahil is very immature but loves him dearly.
Khanna families
Sanam Khanna: a very sweet girl who wears traditional clothes and obeys her parents. Believes in love. Older sister of Swara.
Swara Khanna: works at radio station and welcomes everyone every morning and talks about love. Wears western clothes.
Sumi Khanna: mom of Swara and Sanam. Hides secret. Doesn’t tell Swara when she ask about her dad, but Sanam knows what happened in childhood.
Nani: lives with Sumi, Swara and Sanam. Mother of Sumi.
