Actress Niti Taylor, who was recently seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, is glad that she had a wonderful journey in the show. Niti who is a non-dancer learned new dance styles on the show but she is a tad disappointed that she could not reach the finale.

The actress talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “I have never wanted to do any reality shows except Jhalak. It is a solo journey with your choreographer. Everyone had a tough journey but I think mine was the toughest, it was a rollercoaster ride. It was a great experience and I love the winner Gunjan Saxena, but I was under the impression that Jhalak was always about non-dancers and not professional dancers. But this season included many professional dancers except for a few like me. I remember when I got evicted from the show, everyone on the set was disappointed. We were the only ones who scored 40 points that day, but we were told that our last performance was not good enough and so we got evicted. There was no problem with votes because I was in the top three so far as voting was concerned. So it was disappointing because I worked so hard, was barely in touch with my husband for four months, and was completely focused on my dancing. I had called my sister from Africa, and my parents had also come, so I was a bit upset.”

Niti added, “Nia was a great dancer and when she got evicted, I was sure that I would also get evicted. And both of us before reaching the semi-finals, we got evicted. I felt that people like Faisu-Faisal Shaikh, Nia Sharma and me were not professional dancers and worked our way to the semi-finals. Anyway, it was a great experience, dancing with such some very good dancers and getting good marks. I feel the show was a great opportunity and I will always be thankful to the makers for giving me a chance.”

Earlier in an interview, Niti shared that she would never sign up for a reality show. She said, “I always wanted to do Jhalak, but now there is no similar show and I am not interested in any other reality shows. So, if there is something like Jhalak, I will try but otherwise, I am not interested in any other reality show.”
