Niti Taylor on Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 not connecting with the viewers post the leap; says, “That’s not an actor’s fault”
Niti Taylor, who is currently essaying the lead in the ongoing season of Bade Acche Lagte Hai, is not pleased with her part will coming to an end. In a recent interview, the actress talked about it and shared how she was not expecting the show to wrap up in just three months after the leap.
Niti said, “When I was told that our tracks are wrapping up and there will be a new season now, I was shocked and for a minute could not say anything. I could not function well for a day. I do agree that the show could not connect with viewers after the leap, but it is never just an actor’s fault. It is the entire team and maybe at the script level, the show didn’t work.”
Niti added, “Everyone in the team knows that I have worked very hard and given my best. No one can point fingers at me. People liked my chemistry with Randeep Rai too. I feel that Bade Acche.. has always been about a slightly older age group of actors and a mature love story and that’s why maybe the masses didn’t connect with us.”
Amidst all this, the actress has accepted reality and is gearing up to move on to her next project. She said, “People accepted me as Ram and Priya’s daughter. And now I will move on to newer opportunities from here.”
For now, Niti is planning to take a short break. She shared, “I will miss working with the team. They gave me a great opportunity and I will now take a short break and then again start working.”

Wow,she really could have framed it better without being defensive and putting everyone under the bus this way.
Also,this time with the generation leap,it wasn’t all for the gen she mentioned.
Bdw … when she herself never addresses herself as ram and priya’s daughter…. How can the audience accept her as RAYA’S daughter…. Kuch bhi bolti h …!!!
I don’t think people ever felt Prachi as RaYa daughter, she herself never called herself as RaYa daughter and kept running behind LK and his wife calling them Mom-Dad, that’s the biggest reason why Prachi Kapoor couldn’t connect with audience, there’s no RaYa essence in her which can be seen in Pihu, which made people to connect with Pihu. One more thing is the unwanted attention and screen space given to babbars which ruined the show, that irritating Josh guy got more screen space than Prachi, he’s not a strong villan like Nandini Kapoor, the babbars, Mahir, Kapil, Monica together can’t reach the level of Nandini Kapoor.
Anyways, it’s not actors fault but fault is with the creatives who made such dumb FL and wrote such poor story.
Her acting and raghavs role never jelled. To an extent BALH 2never had a storyline after the leap. They were heading nowhere with characters like sid,josh,avani,Kiara,lakhanetc. There was just no story. Prachi was good at playing dumb and stupid. Raghav – uni dimensional and the others predictable and peripheral is the reason for people losing interest.

I personally loved watching Priya n ram aka Disha n Nakul they were cute, matured actors
But when it comes to Prachi she never demonstrated any qualities of RaYa even for that matter Pihu when she was a kid her role was so cute yet bold n strong but now she just comes across as an aggressive lady
Story cldnt do justice this time
On d above Monica earlier was playing a negative roll n all of sudden she changed became a positive mother

I loved and enjoyed every bit of the show post leap, watched and connected to prachi and her emotions.. the writers could have done a better job
She played the character really really well, prachi felt like a real human not somebody who is portraying this character, also Prachi was like a person who had multiple shades and layers to it, and Niti slayed playing every shade .. hats off.. better and bigger things to come up her way
