Our stars really do put in impeccable amount of hard work in the taking of our daily soaps. They work round the clock, have no time for themselves and often take up challenges which are beyond their might.
But there is one such actor who got into his character so finely that he accessorized himself with a 9 kg gadda. Yes, television actor Nirbhay Wadhwa has been facing a similar challenge as he shoots for &TV’s upcoming mythological show, Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram.
Essaying the fierce, evil and powerful character of Bali, Nirbhay is using a 9kg Gadda. And not just this, he is fighting hard with the gadda too. The prop that has been created using steel as it brings out the essentia,l authentic and raw feel of the character.
In an interview, while talking about his ordeal to a leading portal, Nirbhay said,“I am used to carrying heavy weights but managing the heavy Gadda comes as a struggle when I have to use it for the fight scenes and hit someone it.
It has a difficult grip and I have to ensure to keep my force and energy low so as to not cause any damage or injury. Having said that I feel the prop helps bring out the strength and expressions of my character very evidently on-screen. We have been looking to replace this one with a lighter version but till then I am trying to accustom myself to the weight.” commented Nirbhay.
&TV’s upcoming show Kahat Hanuman…Jai Shri Ram is a captivating tale of Lord Hanuman which is set to take the viewers on an interesting mythological journey of how Bal Hanuman eventually emerges as the greatest devotee of Lord Ram and manages to bring a successful end to Ravana’s reign of terror.
