Actress Bhumika Gurung who is known for his performance in the show Nimki Mukhiya has decided to take the plunge. The actress got married today to beau Shekhar Malhotra in an intimate ceremony. Shekhar is a Mumbai based restaurateur. The couple decided to tie the knot after dating each other for more than a year.
Earlier in an interview Bhumika shared that Shekhar proposed to her a year ago on her birthday. She playfully requested that he go down on his knees, which he did, and Bhumika accepted his proposal.
The wedding ceremony was an intimate affair with only close friends and family present at the venue. The marriage took place at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha at Four Bungalows.
The pre-wedding festivities began with the Haldi ceremony on March 6. The photos from the ceremonies have been doing the round on social media and are garnering lots of good wishes and love.
