Scene 1
Elena is crying. She says papa sings me lullaby. Nimki says I will sing you lullaby. She doesn’t know any. Elena says see on internet. Nimki sings chandaniya. Sweeti and dadi hear. Sweeti says she is making Nimki sleep. Dadi says she sings so well.
Annaro says her voice is in whole house. Tettar says its not voice. Its lullaby.
Babbu comes home. He is drunk. Jhariya takes him out of the car. Jhariya says let me take you to your room. He says you will take me to that nimki. Jhariya says I forgot she is there. Annro looks at him in balcony. Babbu says thats my room and my bed. What is she doing there. She is my slipper and she is sitting on my head. Annaro says to tettar he can’t come to his house. He is asleep there on the ground. See what your politics did do my son. Babbu sleeps on the floor. Babbu says we don’t even have a room. Annaro says enough I will throw her out of that house. Tettar says Elena is there. Annaro says I don’t care. See my son. I can’t tolerate all this. You can kill me. Tettar says first write a letter that you want to die yourself then I can kill you. Tettar says to jhariya bring diamond and take babbu to diamond’s room. He leaves.
Scene 2
Nimki wakes up in babbu’s room. she says babbu didn’t come to room all night? Well what can I do. She looks out babbu is doing exercise. Elena says good morning babbu. Diamond says babbu? Elena says yes he is my friend like Nimki. She says why didn’t you come to room? Nimki says ask my husband where was he? Elena says where were you all night?
Annaro says to diamond finish this milk or I will hit you with slipper. elena laughs. Annaor gets angry. Annaro says rekha bring the breakfast. Rekha says there are no almonds. Only 10 are left from yesterday. Elena says give 5 to dablo and 5 to diamond. And no to Babbu. He didn’t come to room last night. Who leaves his wife like that. Nimki says why we sleep here every day together. Why didn’t you come? Ritu says he was so late. So you and elena were asleep. He didn’t want to disturb so he slept in diamond’s room. Elena says you have to come on time. Or I will make you do ups and downs. Ritu says he will come. Babbu leaves in anger.
Babbu says this is enough. I can’t tolerate all this. He leaves in anger.
Rekah says to sweeti babbu is angry. Nimki asked him why didn’t he come to room last night. Tettar says ritu get ready we have to go to mahatu’s place Elena comes and sits on the chair. She says breakfast is ready. Nimkii you come too. Everyoone is dazed. Annaro stands up.
