Nima Denzongpa fame Rohit Kumar joins “Suhagan” as Raghav Thakur’s Friend

Actor Rohit Kumar, known for his role in “Nima Denzongpa,” is set to make an entry into Rashmi Sharma’s show “Suhagan.” In the series, Rohit will portray the character of Niku, the cousin and best friend of the lead actor Raghav Thakur.

Describing his role in a recent interview, Rohit shares, “I will be playing the role of Niku, who is Krishna’s (Raghav Thakur) cousin and best buddy. He is a funny guy and always refers to himself as ‘Niku-The Genius.’ Niku is a positive, humorous, and carefree individual. He frequently offers good advice to Krishna, although sometimes it can turn into a nightmare!”

The show recently underwent a 10-year leap, with Garima Kishnani, Anshula Dhawan, and Raghav Thakur now playing significant roles. Interestingly, both Raghav and Rohit previously portrayed best friends in “Nima Denzongpa.” Now, they will be sharing the same bond in “Suhagan” as well. Reflecting on his experience of working with Raghav, Rohit expresses his admiration, stating, “He is an incredible actor and a wonderful person. It’s a delightful coincidence and joy to collaborate with him again. In our previous show, we had shot many funny scenes together, and we aim to bring that humor to ‘Suhagan’ as well.”

Rohit has previously appeared in shows like “Mere Dad Ki Dulhan” and “Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi.” He has also shared screen space with Abhimanyu Dassani and Shilpa Shetty in “Nikamma,” as well as Madhuri Dixit in “Maja Ma.”

Regarding his upcoming projects, Rohit hints at two films in the pipeline, but due to their early stages, he refrains from providing further details at the moment.
