Nikki Tamboli backs Arjun Bijlani’s decision to take Sourabh Raaj Jain’s name instead of hers; says, there’s nothing wrong with that

Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11 has been garnering controversies for quite some time. The latest happened with Arjun Bijlani choosing Sourabh Raaj Jain for the elimination stunt instead of Nikki Tamboli. For the unversed, Arjun who won the K medal had a choice of doing a stunt or passing it on to another contestant. He chose Sourabh Raaj Jain for the stunt and eventually Sourabh got eliminated because of it. Sourabh’s fans are calling it unfair as according to them Arjun should have chosen Nikki Tamboli because Nikki has not been performing well on the show. Abhinav Shukla and Shweta Tiwari felt the same way.

In a recent interview with BT, Nikki talked about it and said: “People are saying that I didn’t perform stunts which is why I should have been choosen by Arjun instead of Sourabh. But I couldn’t perform well because I had just lost my brother a few days back. I was constantly in fear that if anything happened to me, who would take care of my family. This was on my mind and it didn’t let me perform. I am thankful to all for giving me a second chance in the show. I understand that Sourabh has performed well which is why I think Arjun chose him. He probably felt he was a good competitor and would get past the elimination round. Unfortunately by a few minutes he lost the round. It all depends on luck.”

She added, “People need to understand the reason why why I couldn’t perform earlier. Now you’ll see me trying harder. When Rohit Shetty earlier asked everyone if they thought I should leave the show, while the others raised their hands, Arjun didn’t. He is a good friend and understands me. He may have thought that I could do better if given another chance.” Talking about the controversy on social media since yesterday, she said, “I am sure Arjun can deal with netizens as he is mature. It was his decision to make and he made it, there was nothing wrong in it.”
