Nidhi Seth on portraying the nine looks of Maa Durga; says, “I’m eagerly looking forward to it”

Navratri is celebrated across the country with lots of enthusiasm and devotion. Devotees worship Maa Durga and her nine avatars known as Navdurga. TV show Dharm Yoddha Garud is all set to narrate the significance of Navaratri in the upcoming episodes where actress Nidhi Seth, who portrays the role of Parvati will portray the nine avatars of Maa Durga.

The actress talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “The last few months have been super hectic and strenuous, but I must say that the experience has been fascinating every time I change into the godly avatars. Honestly, the experience is quite divine, when the whole team puts in so much effort to make you look so gracious every day.”

Talking about the time it takes to get ready for her roles, she added, “But it gets even more interesting when I change into two or sometimes three looks in a day. I remember doing three changes from Parvati to Sati and finally becoming Durgaji in one day. My makeup, hair, and costume teams hustle hard every day to give me the final look which we see on screen. It will only get more challenging for all of us now because I am about to portray nine Durga looks for my upcoming Navdurga track. I’m eagerly looking forward to it.”

“Donning a goddess look which is as heavy as any bridal attire every day for more than 12 hours becomes challenging. But when you play such a positive character, it gives you the energy to keep going,” she shared.

Nidhi is grateful for the opportunity, also sharing that it has made her a more positive person. “Playing this role has a sweet and positive effect on me. I feel good vibes around me on and off the set. I only have gratitude in my heart as I feel blessed to have got an opportunity to portray these divine characters.”
