IT’S NEVER JUST YOUR SIDE OF STORY-Chapter 6

THANK YOU FOR ALL COMMENTS
{congratulations nithu you were right}

Voice:[it came from anika’s behind]you can share it with me[anika turned to see who is it and was shocked the person standing in front of her must be the last person on earth anika would have expected it to be]

Anika:[she was shocked more than surprised it was tej she hesitated]you won’t understand it
Tej:[he sighs and says]i may have been a bad husband and a bad father but trust me you try me as friend i may not be great but i am sure i can be a good friend whenever you need[anika looks at him for while and then shifts a little bit to give him space to sit tej smiles a little and sits beside her and looks at her sad face]

Anika:[she starts narrating her past to him in order for tej to understand her problem]even i had a family a happy family….but it all just took a day to ruin it all 16 years ago when i was 10….my father and brothers were gone to meet my nani that day was like horrible nightmare to me,gauri and i were playing on terrace and suddenly some men with my father’s closed friend entered our house armed with swords they asked about my father but everybody refused to answer they said that my father has refused to sign some land papers then i realized my parents had tension going on between them that day about our ancestors land my father didn’t wanted to sell it but my father’s close friend was hell bent on buying it and one thing

i remember about my father that he was not from the people who back up easily and his this stubbornness costed me my family the people who came that night murdered my maa,choti maa,chote papa dadu dadi everyone[anika could hold back her tears she was crying but tej didn’t pacify her he let her cry out her pain]when they started searching house i and gauri managed to escape somehow i didn’t know what to do i couldn’t trust anyone at that time i saw my family being murdered right in front of my eyes and all i could do was nothing and the murderer was no one but my father’s friend how could i trust anyone else then so i decide that i won’t disclose my and gauri’s true identity to anyone

when we reached an orphanage we got ourselves enrolled there seeing no other option by the nightfall news was flashed on every channel that our house was on fire due to short circuit and the bodies of family members were found they found two bodies of young girls i don’t know whose those bodies where but due to fire they burnt and identification wasn’t possible so they thought that is my and gauri’s body that day i didn’t just lost my family but my identity anika i knew died in that fire i craved for my family for years now that i am having it back i don’t how to face the truth how will i face my younger brother how will i tell him that i chose to be lost forever rather than seeking justice for our mother what will tell gauri that my father’s stubbornness costed life of her parents and my stupid decision ruined her entire childhood{gauri and anika are cousins but their bond is more than real sister}

Tej:[he keeps hand on anika’s shoulder and said]anika they are your brother and sister if you missed them for 16 years then they missed you too and 16 years is no less time they maybe need some time to get along with the fact that whatever you did was not intentional and remember you are elder to them they will certainly question you about your decision but that shouldn’t hold you back from getting your family back you may have to explain them but you will also have someone who will know what you have been through so it’s just my opinion that you should tell them but you have to make your own decision on your own wise i can just advice and not much[he again looks at the moon and says]it’s late now you should sleep you’re hurt and you even didn’t take your medicines[anika was surprised by tej twice in less hours]
Anika:[she asked tej]how did you know it?

Tej:[he smiles and says] i am no doctor but even i can tell that if you would have had your medicines then your painkillers for pain relief would have made drowsy and sleep and i don’t think right now you’re either drowsy or sleepy[tej and anika go inside tej makes sure that anika takes her medicine and then go to their respective rooms]

MORNING

MALHOTRA MANSION

[anika came to meet samarjeet malhotra in order to know about ragini shivaay was in thought where did she went without telling anyone]
[anika and samar were sitting in hall]

Samar:[he may be ragini’s brother but he respected anika a lot and some what like her]ms. Anika is everything alright and maybe you shouldn’t travel much you are injured remember
Anika:[she looks at samar and passes a faint smile]everybody acts as if i was hit by some missile it was just a bullet and it didn’t even hit me it just passed[samar sighs and thinks that she is out of the box]

Samar:[he looks at anika and says]i believe that you are here to discuss about something else
Anika:[she nods in yes and gives samar a serious look]mr.malhotra i am gonna make it simple and straight we all know that ragini doesn’t love shivaay she thinks of shivaay like some toy whom he want to get for herself no matter what and this kind of passion is not love insanity and i am here to ask for your help try to explain it to ragini that she can’t play with people’s life it is not some stupid game make her understand that what she names as love is nothing but madness
Samar:[he became little angry but says to anika in calm voice]you just managed to insult my sister twice in one statement and you want me to break ker heart[anika interrupts him]

Anika: i know you love your sister a lot and you can hurt her but trust me if shivaay finds out ragini’s true face then you will regret your decision to support her

Samar:[someone arrives from door anika’s back was at the person seeing that person samar stands and smiles he looks at anika and says] i am sorry ms.anika can we talk some other time please my friend has arrived i need to be with him[anika nods in yes and turns to see samar’s friend]
