Subhi runs on ground. Rono asks where is he running, stop. Subhi tries to run fast and falls down. Rono rushes to help him, but Sarath stops him and says let him get up and run again, only if he practices and wins against Charles, he will prove that Indians are not weak. Subhi gets up and continues running. On the other side, Britist officer Mukund informs Richardson that Ananth was not among swadesis in mela maidan and someone else from outside was there instead. Richardson says this is a concern and he has to inform about it to his superior Anderson Fraser. Spy Gopal returns injured. Richardson asks what happened to him. Gopal says Ananth injured him reminiscing the incident and says he even took away his revolver. Richardson shouts how dare Indians are, he will inform about
Subhi studies in his room. Prabha walks in. Subhi says he needs to study well and win both academically and in sports against Charles; he will prove tat Indians are not weak. Anu says British cannot degrade them repeatedly, they will free their motherland. Sarath thinks why she is speaking like a swadesi. Prabha also encourages Subhi. After sometime, Sarath walks into Anu’s room and asks where she had gone in the morning and lied that she had gone to temple as she returned without any prasad. Anu requests him not to ask any questions and thinks she needs to go out and protect Ananth any cost. She requests him to help her get out of the house in lieu of returning to her in-laws’ house and accompany him till Cuttack border. He agrees. She informs her parents and other family members that she got a letter from her in-laws and needs to return soon. Father asks her to go in the morning. She says its urgent and Sarath is accompanying her. Janakinath says Subhi needs Sarath. Sarath says he will return by morning. Family agrees. Anu and Sarath exchange their views towards kranti and their desire to free mother India from Britishers. She informs him how her in-laws tried to force her to get into British officer’s room and she ran away from in-laws’ house long ago. He says Britishers do injustice on them regularly and they should fight against it.
Rono teaches breathing exercises to Subhi to improve his running. Subhi excels in it and then runs continuously while his younger siblings ask him to rest. Prabha walks in and encourages Subhi to keep practicing and win against Charles at any cost. She asks him to sleep now as he needs to get up early and practice and thinks her son will win for sure.
Precap: Subash takes Prabha’s blessings before going for a running race. He races against Charles determined to win, but Charles crosslegs and making him falls says he told he cannot win.
