Rabindranath Tagore invites everyone present in swadesi mela to sing in their mother tongue. Someone informs him that police has come to arrest them all. Rabindranath Tagore says they are just singing in their native language and not doing anything wrong. Anu sees police and takes Ananth away from there. Rabindranath Tagore calls Subhi and asks if he knows any song. Subhi says he knows 1-2 songs and poems. Tagore asks his name. Subhi says Subhash Chandra Bose. Tagore explains it means pleasant language and explains in detail. British officer walks to him and asks what is he doing. Rabindranath Tagore says he is praising his mother land in his mother tongue and setting up swadesi bhandar to promote Indian goods and there is nothing wrong in it. British officer says he is right. Rabindranath Tagore asks his assistant to show mela to officer. Officer checks stalls and seeing Vibha’s stall desires to give some donation. Sarath says he bought all the stuff in the stall. Officer says he talked about donation. Sarath says when he cannot buy anything, he cannot donate. Officer walks away. Vibha stands surprised.
Sarath with Subhash returns home with goods bought at Swadesi mela. Uncle tells Prabha that her son bought a lot of goods from mela. Pramila checks and says these clothes are very thick and they can’t even use it, they have to ask Sarath’s wife to wear it; she is sure he must have bought it to support his swadesi ideology. Uncle asks Prabha if that is true, maybe because of that Janaki is eager to get Sarath married. Subhi enters and informs the whole incident happened in Swadesi mela.
Ananth meets Swadesis and asks Barin why did police arrest Aurobindo Ghose. Barin says police thinks he published new paper to provoke Indians against British. Ananth gives them money which Anu gave. Swadesi says they he will not let Indian daughter’s sacrfice go waste and use her money to free Aurobindo Ghose.
Satish warns Sarath not to top his swadesi ideology and not bring swadesi newspaper home. Vibha’s family visits them. Prabha meets Sarath and confronts him for his swadesi ideology, asks if he likes Vibha or not,and to fulfill his responsibility as his father has great hope on him and he never takes any decision in haste. He says what if he has to choose between 2 responsibilities. Prabha asks what he means. He says he doesn’t wan to marry right now. Vibha meechats with Subhi and offers her sweets. Prabha with aunt walks to her, and she touches their feet. Prabha checks her fair and hair carefully. Aunt asks her to bless Vibha.
Precap: Anu informs Sarath that Aurobindo babu is arrested. Sarath says they need to be careful. Subhi insists Sarath to accompany him to swadesi rally. Police punishes swadesi to set an example. Subhi concerned rushes to free swadesi, but pushed away by mob and falls down.
