Prabha gets worried seeing injured Subhi and asks Sarath asks what happened. Sarath says Subhi had gone to practice running. Janakinath and other family members join and ask what happened. Prabha says Subhi ran and fell down. Subhi says if he doesn’t fall, how will he get up and run again; he will try until he succeeds. Tauji asks who taught him this. He says Robert The Bruce, he was Scotland’s king who lost 5 battles and hid in a cave where he saw a spider failing repeatedly and finally able to build its nest, hence he also decided to fight back until he succeeded and won the battle. Tauji says this story is not in his book. Subhi says Sarath dada told him. Sarath says he just wanted to encourage Subhi. Tauji says he doesn’t want Subhi to study anything else than his syllabus. Prabha asks Janakinath to change Subhi’s school and takes him in to apply medicine. Tauji says they cannot fight against British, so better if Subhi drops his idea of competition with Charles. Sarth thinks soon Indian will take back control from British and Tauji will realize then.
Anu walks to Samithi searching Ananth. Swadesis see her and asks why did she come here as British spies are all around. Anu shows letter and asks if anyone among them threw it on her. They ask if she doesn’t know anything about Ananth. Barin enters. Anu asks what is he doing here, he was in Kolkota. Barin says Ananth is missing and is having fever. He asks where is the gun she brought to Cuttak. She says she gave it to Ananth. They get tensed thinking Ananth has 3 guns with him now and police may arrest him soon.
Prabha applies herbal medicine on Subhi’s injuries and suggests him not to run in race. Subhi determines to run and tells Rono that they will go to school now. Janaki walks in. Subhi, Rono and other children leave for school. Prabha tells Janaki that she asked Subhi not to run, but he will and once he wins, Janaki should change his school, else students will bully him.
Subhash reaches school limping. Charles taunts that he must have run and fallen down. Rono says he didn’t. Subhash says he did run and fall and will continue until he wins. Charles and his friends bully Subhash. While returning home, Sarath picks him and in chariot they hear Swadesis singing and walking ahead. Mukund with other policemen spy and plan to catch them. Subhi hears song and sings along. Chariot breaks down and driver gets down to check. Subhash gets down and walks away behind Swadesis. Rono searches him and asks to come back. Subhash runs and falls down. Sarath says let him get up and run again.
Precap: Prabha encourages Subhash to win. Subhash participates in race and lags behind. He determines to win the race at any cost.
