Satish comes to call Sarath and gets tensed seeing news paper in his hand and orders to hide it somewhere. Subhash thinks what is wrong in holding a news paper. After sometime, Anupama on terrace gets tensed seeing via binocular British officers torturing Swadesis and hopes Ananth is fine. Subhi walks to terrace and asks what is she doing. She asks what is he doing here. He says he came to give money to fakeers like yesterday. Anupama walks away crying worried for Ananth. Subhi then picks binocular and watches Richardson torturing Swadesis, gets afraid that he may also punish him. Sarath walks to him and says he knew he would be here. Subhi informs him that he threw dust in Richardson’s eyes. Sarath feels proud of Subhi and also worried for him. He explains why Swadesis
Janakinath walks to his elder brother/Tauji. Sarath, Satish, and Subhash also reach. Janaki informs them that Dwijendralal Ray is coming to Cuttack and he invited Dwijendralal Ray home. Tauji says he knows Dwijendralal Ray’s patriotic songs and his rift with Britishers, it will create a problem for them, so he shouldn’t have called Dwijendralal Ray. Sarath informs Subhash that Dwijendralal Ray is a famous patriotic poet. Tauji warns to not speak about it in front of Sarath and asks Janaki to just speak about family in front of Dwijendralal Ray. Dwijendralal Ray visits home. Janaki introduces him to his children and Subhash and says today is Subhash’s 10th birthday and he should bless Subhash to be at least 10% like him. Subhash touches his feet and takes blessings. Dwijendralal Ray says he will sing a song as Subhi’s birthday gift and sings a patriotic song which Subi and Sarath sing. Anu gets emotional hearing patriotic song. Dwijendralal Ray notices tears in Subhi’s eyes and says he experienced the song. Subhi requests him to let Sarath note down his song, Dwijendralal Ray agrees.
Richardson with his puppet Mukund reaches Subhi’s school and threatens principal to restricate Subhi for throwing dust on him, else he will request Baptist Society to stop funding school. Principal afraid starts to write orders when Subhi’s class teacher requests not to do that before interrogating Subhi and to send a letter to Subhi and his father to come here. Principal writes letter and gives it to a messenger who delivers at Janaki’s house. Abdul receives letter and gets tensed, he nervously informs Janaki about the letter.
Precap: Janaki reads principal’s letter. Sarath suggests Subhi to not be afraid and describe whole story to Janaki. Subhi says baba will scold him. Janaki asks what he wants to say.
