Neil Bhatt started dating Aishwarya Sharma in October last year. It all started during the shoot of “Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin” The couple who plays exes in the show fell in love with each other long before they parted ways in the show. They recently had a Roka ceremony in Mahidpur (Madhya Pradesh), which is Aishwarya’s hometown.
In an interview with BT Neil shares, “We are shooting together since September last year. We enjoyed each other’s company and became friends. Our friendship soon blossomed into love. ‘Let’s just give it a shot’, aisa nahi karna tha. We always intended to take our relationship seriously right from the word go. It was always for a long-term relationship and not the usual short-lived one. We didn’t even ask each other out. We realised that something was brewing between us, but we wanted it to grow into something serious. That was the idea rather than asking ‘I have feelings for you. Do you feel the same way?’. The thought was how to take things forward.”
Neil feels fortunate to have found his partner in Aishwarya and he says, “She is extremely dedicated and fun at the same time. That’s the kind of person I am, too. I am mad and focused. Both of us are like two extremes of the pendulum, striking a fine balance between the two traits. Besides, we have common interests — both of us are dancers. Look, it’s all about compatibility, love, and understanding with us. It’s all things love (smiles).”
Neil signs off by saying that the marriage will happen sometime this year only but they will declare the date at the right time.
