Abir asks Neerja to feed everyone with her hands starting with Pishi Maa. Neerja says to Abir, he shouldn’t do all this. Abir insists on doing it , because he likes it. Neerja walks to Pishi Maa.
Pratima keeps checking the watch, and Shamli asks what is she waiting for is Neerja coming? Pratima says I hope she never, I am just waiting for Didun to come and says Didun is visiting Neerja and she has also sent Neerja’s fav sugar roti. Pratima talks about how far Neerja’s house is and where all the rich people live. Bappan is outside the window listening to their conversation.
Shamli suggests Pratima that she should call Neerja. Pratima says Neerja will call when she can. Bappan thinks he will receive the call when Neerja calls.
Neerja breaks the bowl in her hand so that she doesn’t have to feed Pishi Maa. Abir rushes to get first aid. Neerja says to Pishi Maa she did this so that Pishi Maa’s rules don’t break.
Shabbo sees Bappan outside and asks what is he doing here. Bappan says I am just looking at my mother, I broke her heart because of Neerja. Shabbo says I will talk to Shamli don’t cry. Bappan hides Shabbo and says you are the best here and gives a wicked smile.
Abir dresses Neerja’s wound and asks is she in pain and says I try so hard to not let you get any pain but you find a way. Neerja says I am fine don’t worry. Didun says these two have gelled so well with each other and whispers to Bijoy, this is going to cost you.
Pishi Maa asks Abir, to let Neerja spend some time with her Aunty. Abir says I have to take care of her. Neerja says to Abir, you don’t worry my aunt will take care of me. Abir leaves.
Pishi Maa scolds Neerja for wasting her time in cooking and receiving gifts but instead look after how she can cure Abir and tells her how Abir was in the past and has changed after Trisha’s death.
Didun thinks if Neerja does any mistake, this Pishi Maa will throw Neerja out and she will loose lot of money and says to Pishi Maa she will talk to Neerja. Pishi Maa asks Laltu to distribute food amongst the poor. Kaushik says just give it to Neerja’s aunt. Didun thanks Kaushik for helping the orphans and says do come to our place and you will loose interest in stupid things and looks at Munmun.
Neerja walks to Didun. Munmun trying to listen to their conversation. Didun sees Munmun and says get some tea and biscuits too, to listen to our conversation.
Munmun leaves. Didun threatens Neerja and says if you spoil my game here I will make your mother’s life hell there and also you will be dragged back in Sonagachi. Neerja says I will never disobey you just tale care of my mother. Didun says okay and says by the way you look pretty in new attire and here your mother sent you sugar roti. Neerja gets emotional.
Bijoy asks Pishi Maa if is she upset with him. Pishi Maa asks him why did he allow Oraphanage people home. Bijoy says I couldn’t say no to my son, for the first time, he asked me for something. Moushmi says to Pishi Maa, Neerja is taking care of all the rules and Abir and we should help her instead of making things difficult for her. Bijoy says to Pishi Maa, if she has a lot of problems with Neerja, he will send her back and then wait for God to send a new way to help our Abir.
Bijoy walks to Neerja and apologises on behalf of Pishi Maa. Neerja says please don’t do this you are our elder. Bijoy says I know Pishi Maa is very hard on you but I can’t help, she believes in old rituals and loves Abir a lot. Neerja says to Bijoy, Pishi Maa hates because she is an orphan but what if she finds out I am from Sonagachi?
Neerja sees sugar roti and says Pratima is definitely missing me and I am missing her too. Neerja remembers a childhood memory when she ate almost 4-5 rotis made by Pratima because she loved it so much and beats all the other delicacies. Abir feeds Neerja and she thinks Pratima is feeding her and says it’s sweeter now. Abir says how can you have this alone. Neerja says to Abir, her Massi in the orphanage who used to cook it for her. Abir insists on trying it. Neerja feeds him. Abir loves it and says it’s mind-blowing. Neerja says you have tried so many different cuisines, how can you like this. Abir says he loved it so much and beats all the other delicacies and feeds Neerja. Both feed each other the sugar roti.
Pre cap” Neerja looking for Abir in temple. Abir asks Neerja to sing the song while he plays the guitar. Neerja gets scared and says I swear I forgot this song.
