Didun catches Pratima red-handed. She doesn’t hold back her anger at Pratima’s unexpected presence and reminds her that she cannot escape two things in life: herself and Sonagachi. She rebukes Pratima for disobeying her orders. Pishi Maa asks Panditji to begin ritual preparations.
Meanwhile, Bappan is on his way to halt the wedding, claiming that Neerja belongs solely to him.
Didun asks Pishi Maa, why is Abir taking long to come. Abir comes happily downstairs looking for Trisha and sees Neerja and says sorry I made you wait and I can’t express how happy I am to have you and get back to you. Abir holds Neerja’s hand and says today we will get married and all gaps will be filled and this day is the happiest day of my life, as I am going to be with the one whom I love the most. Shabbo says to Abir, every newly wed husband says this before wedding and promises moon and stars. Abir says to her, I will gift Trisha a mirror so that she can see the moon all the time. Pishi Maa asks Abir to get seated.
Kaushik says to Munmun, this girls presence will cure Abir, this is not good for us.
Shabbo asks Didun who will lift Neerja as she has no brothers. Didun says she has me, Neerja about to slip, Pratima holds the Patla with Didun and Shabbo.
Wedding rituals begin.
Bappan goes to a house looking for Neerja and realises its wrong address.
Munmun eagerly anticipates her plan to unfold. As expected, a mishap occurs during the havan, causing Abhir to become agitated and violent, fearing the loss of Trisha. He unintentionally manhandles Neerja in his panic, leading to difficulty in controlling him. After reassuring Abhir that Neerja is unharmed, he is taken away.
Following this incident, Pishi Ma vents her anger at everyone for allowing the fire mishap to occur, despite her prior warnings against adding fire to the havan. Suspicion falls on Neerja and Didun, as they were the only ones near the havan at the time. Neerja raises a valid point, suggesting that someone from her family might be responsible. Pishi Ma becomes infuriated at the accusation.
Didun comes to Neerja’s defense, supporting her stance. Neerja, in turn, accuses Munmun, having witnessed her placing something inside the havan. Drama ensues as Munmun threatens to leave the house, but Kaushik intervenes, urging her not to complain excessively. Didun rebukes him, cautioning him to be more mindful of his words. Munmun challenges Neerja to provide proof of her accusation, while Pishi Maa undermines Neerja’s credibility, mocking her for being an orphan who supposedly lacks understanding of family relations. Neerja feels hurt by the comment, while Pratima wishes for her to remain strong and not return to Sonagachi.
