Pratima tells Neerja, she will find someone who will protect her and be her strength after Pratima. Neerja asks Pratima to take care and gets in the boat. Abir continues his relentless search for Trisha, the love he lost. Abir passes by Neerja and he feels Trisha’s presence. His mother begs him to get back home and its just his misunderstanding. Abir says Trisha is here, she said she will come to pick me I will wait here. Abir sits by the shore and plays his mouth organ.
A kid goes to Abir’s parents to sell flowers and Diya. Pratima prays for Neerja and prays that Neerja finds her true love. Abir’s mother prays that her son finds his lost love. The diyas touch each other in the water. Abir’s mother assures her that one day he will reunite with his beloved. On the other hand, his father invites him to gather auspicious soil for Durga Puja.
Amidst the turmoil, Shyamli anxiously wonders if Pratima will face scolding and insults from Didun. Despite her fears, Pratima holds onto the belief that one day Neerja will achieve her desires and earn the respect she deserves. However, when Pratima arrives at the brothel, Didun greets her with sarcastic words and coerces her into accepting mangoes. In a moment of spite, Didun hurls the plate, reminding Pratima of the time she deprived her of a much-awaited meal. Didun confronts Pratima directly, questioning how she found the audacity to rescue Neerja from the brothel.
Pratima suspects that Didun has once again captured Neerja and frantically searches for her, but to no avail. She demands answers from Didun, asking where her daughter is being kept. Didun, displaying her offensive and malevolent nature, presents Neerja, who is bound by ropes. Didun mockingly welcomes both Neerja and Pratima, insisting that Neerja should celebrate her own birthday and cut the cake. Overwhelmed by the situation, Pratima can no longer bear it and pleads with Didun to end the charade. However, Didun reminds her of the promises she made.
Didun proceeds to explain to Neerja how Pratima had promised her that after 20 years, Neerja would have to abide by her own words. Neerja is taken aback by this revelation, while Didun instructs the other pr*stitutes to gather wealthy clients for the following day, as Neerja is to be sold. Unable to bear the punishment, Neerja rushes to her room and breaks down in tears. Pratima, devastated by her failure to protect her daughter from these wicked individuals, is consumed by sorrow. Though Neerja tries to instill some hope in Pratima’s heart, both are aware of the dire consequences they face.
