Laltu infront of court testifies that Kaushik threatened him. Moushmi interrupts and says this is all Neerja’s plan do not believe her. Moushmi asks Munmun to not believe anything. Judge asks Moushmi to stay quiet.
Kaushik’s lawyer asks Laltu about his and Chakri’s relationship. Laltu says they had only work relationship. Kaushik’s lawyer blames Laltu of having s*xual relationship with Chakri. Neerja objects and asks Laltu did he see Kaushik rape Chakri and when he couldn’t and kept stabbing her and threw her of the terrace. Laltu says yes. Kaushik looses his calm and says Laltu is lying I hit Chakri only ones and she fell down herself. Everyone in shock.
Neerja confronts Kaushik and his lawyer, asserting her victory despite her origins in Sonagachi. She defends the dignity of Sonagachi girls, stating that their refusal holds weight regardless of their profession. Her emotional speech moves everyone in the court, who applaud her. The judge, impressed, pronounces Kaushik guilty and sentences him to 14 years in prison. Kaushik pleads with his parents and lawyer, offering more money for his defense, but the lawyer declines, praising Neerja for her integrity and wishing her success.
Neerja envisions Chakri’s spirit thanking her and is brought back to reality by Shefali’s embrace. Shefali praises Neerja, imagining her mother’s pride. Neerja bids farewell to Chakri’s spirit, while Kaushik’s family disowns him, ashamed of his actions. Moushmi says to Kaushik, I was wrong to ignore all your mistakes and I am ashamed of raising you. Bijoy says to her that, its not her fault , he is a devil. Munmun says to Kaushik that she feels disgusted about herself and I will never want my son to have a father like him and we would all never be able to face Neerja. Kaushik is taken to prison.
Neerja tries to approach the Bagchis, but they ignore her. Neerja locks eyes with Abeer, and they reconcile, with Abeer apologizing and Neerja forgiving him. They share a hug, and Abeer captures Neerja’s happiness in photographs. Neerja reflects on fulfilling Protima’s dream of becoming a lawyer, gazing at the sky in gratitude. Neerja and Abeer walk hand in hand.
Precap: Neerja goes to meet Shymli and learns about Protima’s death. Didum catches Neerja but Neerja hits her and says I am your death and you can’t do with me what you did to Protima.
