Zee TV is all set to roll out a new show based on the concept of Punar Vivah. And it was only a day ago when we reported that gorgeous actress Shrenu Parikh has been roped in to play the lead role in the project. The show is bankrolled by renowned production house Sunshine Productions and was to be titled ‘Maitree’. There was also news that actor Mohit Kumar has been roped in to essay the male lead opposite Shrenu.
But now it has been revealed that the makers were not able to seal the deal with Mohit Kumar. It is now Namish Taneja who will be essaying the role of the male lead in the show.
The shoot of the show has begun and the show might hit the TV screens by the end of this year. As per reports, Amit Kapoor and Zaan Khan will also be a part of the project.
Namish is known for his stint in shows like Swaragini, Vidya among others.
