Nakuul Mehta on returning to Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3

Nakuul Mehta who became a household name with his role as Ram in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 is all set to return to the show with the upcoming season. The fans are eagerly waiting for Bade Achhe Lagte Hain season 3.

Nakuul and Disha Parmar who essayed the lead roles in season 2 were recently spotted shooting for the promo at a studio in Mumbai. During an interview with ETimes TV, Nakuul Mehta opened up about playing Ram Kapoor again and shared, “I feel nervous when I see all these messages and love, we feel the pressure. I am very excited and both Disha and I have had similar experiences. Wherever we have gone in the past three months, literally people stop us and say Ram and Priya were our comfort. They have been asking us why did you leave the show and it is hard to explain. How do you tell them what happened? But you try to take that love back. Last Ek Mahine se jab ye baat chal rahi hai, I would feel yaar bata Doon kya but of course, you hold back till you are sure. I remember I met a wonderful lady two days ago and she was about 65-70 years old and I told her “we might comeback” and she got so excited, thrilled. So suddenly I felt there’s so much responsibility we have because people are very connected to the characters and the show. I hope we can give the same respect and love and if we can give it, then hopefully it will carry forward to the audience.”

Taking about his first reaction when he got the call for BALH 3, Nakuul said, “There were two reactions. The first was “Are you serious” and the second was “yes let’s explore this”. Within seven seconds I was there. Initially, I thought how is it even possible but then we heard the story etc, it sort of gave you confidence that we are doing something good.”

When asked if he feels the pressure of high expectations, he replied, “There is no pressure. I enjoy the time we have on set. In fact, when we started Bade Acche at that time pressure should have been there, but even then there was no pressure at all, we never felt it. It is a good fortune that we are being called to do this. There’s no pressure and we are here to enjoy ourselves and work.”
