At the Khanna mansion. Neil is looking for Avni whom he has not seen since morning. He walks past the guest room, when Juhi comes out and he almost bumps into her.

NEIL: Sorry Juhi. [gets a long stare from Juhi] I didn’t see you coming.
JUHI: [Neil is about to walk on when she stop him] Neil, I want to talk to you.
NEIL: Yes, Juhi. Is everything alright? Tell me and Avni if you need anything, ok?
JUHI: haan. I know you are trying to help me get a life back, and I am grateful for your favor you are doing me, but I don’t want to burden you and Avni any more.
NEIL: Juhi, you are not a burden for us. I feel so sorry that I couldn’t find you and get you out of that hell of a place sooner. It is my responsibility to make sure you get back your life.
JUHI: It is not easy as you think Neil. The dark marks of Rang Mahal – once it gets on you, it cannot be erased.
NEIL: You need to not lose courage, Juhi. We are with you. Don’t you trust me and Avni? I promise we will make everything alright, ok? [he gets a call, rushes off, answering his phone]
JUHI: [to herself] How will everything be okay Neil?

Avni and Ali reach Khanna mansion.

AVNI: Come in. Let’s have lunch with us.
ALI: No Avni, I need to get to the cafe. Besides, you need to find Neil now and talk to him. Listen, you need to tell him everythig.
AVNI: I will do, Ali. Take care. [Ali drives off] I hope Neil would understand – he doesn’t like it when I go about doing things on my own.
NEIL: [walks out hurriedly, talking on the phone] Yes sir, I’m on my way. [looks at Avni, disconnects the call] Avni, where had you gone. I was worried about you.
AVNI: Neil, I need to tell you something.
NEIL: Not now, Avni. I need to go to office urgently. [rushes off]
AVNI: Neil, stop. Neil…. [he is gone, she walks into the house and finds Juhi at the door]
JUHI: Where have you been Avni?
AVNI: [still looking back the way Neil went] Come, I’ll tell you…

Neil arrives at the police headquarters and walks into his old office, where DD is waiting for him.
NEIL: How come six girls suddenly decide to come in and file complaint against Raghu Pandit?
DD: Sir, I will explain everything.
