Actress Nandani Tiwary who rose to fame with her stint in Naagin 6 has bagged a new show, Udaariyaan. In contrast to her positive character in Naagin, Nandini will be essaying a negative role in the new show.
The actress talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “This is what an actor aspires to achieve – playing distinct characters, versatile roles, and exploring different shades of a human being. Having said that, the negative character I have been offered in Udaariyaan is something I was looking for months and I feel blessed to have finally bagged such a pivotal role. What more! I got this show a week after I wrapped up my shoot for Naagin.”
Udaariyaan recently witnessed a time leap of six years. Nandini will be introduced as Shelly next week. Talking about it she said, “It was full of surprises, as after giving the audition, I was finalized in a day and had to move to Chandigarh overnight. But I am thrilled at this opportunity, as I wanted to play a Punjabi kudi in an authentic ambiance, which makes it look realistic. I am looking forward to this stint.”
The actress is super excited about working with her new co-actors. She said, “Everyone is just brimming with energy, something that I have never seen before. The team is welcoming and warm. In just a few days of the shoot, I realized that each and every person on the set is awesome. A special mention for Tejo (Priyanka Chahar Choudhary who plays the female protagonist). Even the director sir creates an environment that makes it easier for us to sink our teeth deep into our characters.”
