Mahekk Chahal, who is currently seen in Naagin 6 has been conned by an online payment fraud. According to the reports Mahekk Chahal became a victim of online payment fraud on July 12 and lost Rs. 49,000. The actress immediately lodged a complaint with the cyber wing.
Talking about the incident in an interview, Mahekk shared that she was checking the status of courier delivery when she got the number of a person who told her that he would assist her in the matter. He later asked her to visit a website and complete the registration by transferring Rs.10 on the website. When asked about the mode of payment he said that he was using Google Pay. When the actress tried to make the payment via Google Pay, it didn’t go through. After that, she was given a link for payment and within 20 seconds, her money got deducted.
Mahekk has to cancel her shoot for Naagin 6 to deal with it. Meanwhile, the FIR has been lodged and the cyber wing is looking into the matter.
