The Episode starts with Vidhi thinking that she got the first chance to make something for her family. Priya thinks the family will not like the food. Mausi ji comes there. Priya asks Servant to bring chopped tomatoes and potatoes. Mausi ji asks Vidhi what she is searching? Vidhi says Vanaspati ghee. Mausi ji says this is Raichand house, we use desi ghee. Priya asks her to take ghee from her, and asks her not to make them their guinea pigs using her tricks. Mausa ji comes there and says I am dying to have sabudana khichdi and kesar pista milk. He whispers to Vidhi to make it with Vanaspati ghee, as he gets digestion problem. Vidhi takes it. Priya and Vidhi start making. Hariprasad asks Bimla if Vidhi can make the khichdi and kesar milk. He gets worried about Damiyanti and Priya’s taunts.
Priya and Vidhi show their dishes to Satyavati, Damiyanti and Mausa ji. Priya represents well with toppings etc. Mausa ji teases Priya. They taste Priya’s khichdi and then Vidhi’s khichdi. Mausa ji and Satyavati like Vidhi’s khichdi. Satyavati says Priya’s presentation is good, but Vidhi’s food taste is food, so she is the winner. She asks Mausi ji to say if the khichdi reminds her of their mother. Mausi ji says yes. Vidhi says I want to learn from Priya, how to decorate it. Priya says your weight must have increased by defeating me. Satyavati, Mausa ji and Mausi ask Vidhi to ask anything. Satyavati says you will get anything you want. Vidhi says she don’t want jewellery or money, but wants to do job, as she feels that a woman shall stand on her feet, so she wants to go out and work. Priya smiles and says another drama will start now. Mausi ji tells Satyavati that Vidhi is very clever, has won the challenge and wants permission to break the custom. Satyavati tells vidhi that she can’t break the family’s customs for her, this house ladies will not work.
Priya thinks what will happen now. Vidhi goes from there and cries. Satyavati comes there and says sorry to Vidhi. She says I refused you strictly, I felt bad so came. She says when Dev’s Papa was alive, he took sworn from me that the house ladies will not work outside. She asks her to say what is her problem. Vidhi says she has no problem here. She says when she had gone to market to buy stuff for the competition, she found that she has no money. She says then she thought to take money from her parents, and then thought otherwise and called Dev, but he was busy. She says she went to her parents’ house to take money from them and return later, and came to know that they are going through financial crisis. Satyavati says your parents are not just your family, but Dev’s family too. She says she will talk to Dev. Vidhi asks her not to tell Dev, and tells that they didn’t tell me, and their self respect will be hurt. Satyavati gives her money and asks her to keep it, says she gives money to Dev and Abhi also. Vidhi again tries to get permission from her, but satyavati says she is helpless. Vidhi asks her to keep money with her and says I will take it when I need. Satyavati says ok and hugs her.
Vidhi is afraid to sleep alone in room and waits for Dev’s call. Dev calls her. Vidhi asks him if he have any food, and asks him to drink water as it is very hot there. Dev says you are saying this, as if this is my first trip. He says he has done 150-200 trips till now. Vidhi says I will not say it again. Dev says actually I am not habitual that someone takes care of me. Vidhi asks him to get habitual to it, as he is married for the first time and she is his wife. Dev says Vidhi Dev Raichand is coming out from you. Vidhi asks him to return home.
Vidhi comes to Satyavati, holding her jewellery box and tells that she wants to give it to Chitra as per the ritual. Satyavati is touched to see her love for Dev’s happiness. She says Chitra came here hiding to tie Sehra to Dev. She says Dev has raised her like his daughter, and tells that she is just in photos now. She says she wants to do all the rituals for her bhai and bhabhi, but she couldn’t do anything due to Amba. She tells that when they took card for Chitra, she was very excited, but Amba burnt the card and Chitra couldn’t come due to her. Priya promises her that she will unite Chitra once again with this house, and says this is my promise. Satyavati says you are really Lakshmi of this house, if Chitra comes here then this house will be happy again.
Simmy tells Priya that she don’t want to go to school today. Priya asks her not to do any drama. Vidhi hears and asks her to hear Simmy first, what is her problem? Priya says if I don’t teach her discipline then she will not pass her college, and says everyone don’t get big shot.
Precap: Divya is sitting in Vidhi’s room and asks her to make tea. She asks if Raichands are miser. Vidhi says no and goes to bring tea. Divya talks to someone and says she is in Dev’s room. Vidhi comes there holding tea tray. Divya gets tensed.
