Hii Everyone!! Sorry for being late. Actually my schools are starting from 16 so I went to submit the consent form and other things. Here we go!!
The whole hall was wholely decorated. And why not it would be? The Rai Singhanias were having double celebration. Ritwik’s 19th birthday and for Vanya’s reuse.
“Keep it at the perfect place! Bhai likes everything perfect!” Vanya was wandering in her casuals with a bowl of cornflakes in her hands munching them while telling.
“Giraffe! Dare you enter the house!” She squealed on the phone.
“It’s my house yaar… And I know you are throwing a party!” Riwik said being irritated.
“Accha…you don’t remember you have a house when you left back to London for a week?” Vanya said.
“I had my exams yaar. And now I am back na! I am…”
Ritwik was cutted by Vanya.
“YOU are going to the hotel, get ready, become a handsome hunk, and then come. Because Ashiya is coming.” Vanya said and declined the phone.
“Vanya please let me open my eyes. I want to see what you have did.” Vansh was blindfolded by Vanya.
“Don’t worry Dadda you will see soon.” Vanya chuckled.
“Now you can open it.”
Vansh opened his blindfold and his lips curved into a smile.
“Wow Vanu it’s…….. Awful!!!”
Vansh turned and looked at Vanya who was all messed up.
“What!? It’s awful!!” Vanya squealed
“No but yes! The decoration is just perfect. I loved it. Proud of you ” Vansh patted her head.
“Then what is awful?” Vanya asked munching her cornflakes.
“The one who organised this. Won’t you get ready?” Vansh asked.
“Ohh. I forgot. Yes iwil….. I FORGOT!!!” Vanya shouted.
“Mm hmm Vanu .. your dress is at your room.” Said Vansh.
Vanya hugged him tightly.
“Love you Dadda. I think you should too get ready.” Vanya said.
“Yeah… Will meet after getting ready. Love you too.”
Vansh kissed on her forehead and Vanya moved towards her room. She sat on the bed.
“Now it will be fun. Bhai’s birthday, but on my favourite colour’s theme.” Vanya giggled. And headed to get ready.
“And here comes Mr. And Mrs. Rai Singhania!!!”
Angre was the host and Riddhima and Vansh entered a perfect royal couple. Happily smiling, not forcly. Everyone clapped as they entered inside.

“Everything is fine but where the kids whom this party is arranged for?” Riddhima asked.
“Here” It was Ritwik and Vanya’s voice. Everyone’s eyes were on them and they gasped seeing them….
“Both are looking like someone from a fairytale. Isn’t it?” Riddhima whispered to Vansh.
“They are kids of two beauties. Wouldn’t they be?” Vansh said and both of them chuckle.
Vanya and Ritwik entered, both wearing matching black outfits looking dashing in it.

“Why is everyone staring us?” Vanya whispered to Ritwik.
“Because we are showstoppers, idiot.” Ritwik replied and Vanya slammed her elbow on his arm.
Vansh pulled Riddhima in for a dance…

Vansh was holding Riddhima by her waist while her hand was on his shoulder and other hand interwined with his.

Vansh lifts Riddhima up in the air ..

He twirls around and rose petals falls on both of them…

Everyone clap from them. All their relatives were praising for RiAnsh being possessive for each other after years of their marriage. And finally, they were a complete family.
“Are… If you remember today is Bhai’s birthday!” Vanya broke everyone’s talks.
“Time to cut the cake!!” Vanya whistles loudly and everyone giggles and there comes the cake.
Ritwik cuts the cake and feeds to Vanya, Riddhima and Vansh. Everyone feeds him back along with his friends.
“Will you fill my stomach with cake only? What was the need of this big cake?” Ritwik whispered.
“There are many people who haven’t tasted.” Vanya smiled sheepishly.
‘Now it’s high time for Ritwik to show his skills!!!” Ishani came to Ritwik and gave him the mic. Ritwik cleared his throat and started singing
Dhoop paani or baras jaaye

Ritwik eyes at Vanya and she smiles.

Ritwik sits next to Vanya wrapping his hand around her neck and both of them move with the beat. Ritwik passes the mic to Vansh and he too sings coming near Vanya.

Ritwik again sings…

Riddhima and Vansh hug Ritwik and Vanya as she becomes teary eyed.
“Rona mat, makeup kharab ho jaayega!” Ritwik cheered her up and everyone chuckled.
After hours of fun games and meeting the family, the party was finally over. Vanya sighed and went to her room to change her heavy dress. She lifts her dress from both hands and hugs it, moving upstairs.
Here, everyone was busy bidding farewell to some relatives, while Ritwik was with his friends.
“Ritwik I have heard you play drums?” Anantya asked.
“Oh yeah he plays very well. Won’t you show us your drums?” Jai asked.
“Why not? Of course he will. But after that you all need to go back. Your parents have called us a hundred times.” Riddhima chuckled.
“Aunty you are so cool with Ritwik. Let’s go.” Jai said and everyone stood up and headed to Ritwik’s room.
Moving in the corridor upstairs, Ritwik was moving ahead leading them his house, which was now a house. As they moved ahead, Ritwik saw Vanya lying on the floor, with her eyes closed.
“Vanya!!!”
He ran to her and patted her cheeks, kept her head in his lap, but she was the way she was. He kept her head back and shouting reached downstairs, calling Vansh and Riddhima.
They too ran with her not knowing what has happened. Riddhima saw Vanya unconscious but she too patted her cheeks, they sprinkled some water on her face but she was not waking up.
Angre had already got the car ready and Ritwik and Vansh picked up Vanya and left for the hospital.
One week later
Vanya was cooled and sitting on the sofa with her legs crossed and resting on the edge munching her cornflakes. Riddhima and Vansh were sitting looking at her while she was busy watching TV.
Ritwik entered the mansion in casuals with a basketball in his hands, all sweaty. He came and sat next to Vanya seeing RiAnsh in a serious mode.
“Ugh bhai you are smelling.” Vanya sat up on the sofa.
“Vanya” Riddhima called her.
“Yes mumma.” Vanya to was now sitting straight looking at them.
“You really think?” Riddhima asked Vansh.
“Yes, it’s the time.” Vansh answered.
Ritwik and Vanya gave a confused look to each other.
“Vanya .. you remember..you fainted during the party?” Riddhima asked.
Ritwik understood it was something serious so he sat on the other sofa.
“Yes, I do. And I remember you told me it was because of exhaustion.” Vanya spoke thinking.
“Was that a lie dad?” Ritwik asked directly.
Vansh nodded in yes.
“Vanya .. you have lung fibrosis. You can say cautions of lung failure.” Vansh finished.
“But…why? What’s the reason!?” Vanya tried not to shout.
“Calm down Vanu… It is side effect of chemotherapy.” Riddhima said.
“Now what is this chemotherapy.” Vanya folded her legs being irritated.
“Chemotherapy is a sort of test done with lazer, right?” Ritwik asked.
“But when?” Vanya poked in between.
“Maybe when you were small? Around 4 years old.” Vansh finished.
“One second. Matlab mai marne waali hun?”
(This means I am going to die?)
There was a wave of silence, no one uttered a single word. Ritwik was as shocked as Vanya while RiAnsh were broken from inside, but they can’t let their kids fall week seeing them.
Getting no answer from anyone, Vanya kept the bowl aside with a thud and stomped to her room followed by Ritwik who was trying to…… Maybe console when she cries?
