It was morning, Aditi came from her room yawning and stretching herself and descended the stairs. As she reached down, her eyes fell on the potrait of the Rai Singhanias.
“Who are these three?” Her mind clicked the question but she scoffed and moved directly to the kitchen. Riddhima was already standing there.
“Good morning! Come have a seat on the table I will serve the breakfast soon.” Riddhima said pulling her cheeks and she smiled.
“No thanks…I am going to help you.” Aditi said.
“Arre wah!” It was Ritwik ” Mom krne do help. I would be very happy to see you helping her.” Ritwik eyed Aditi and she too understood, his words.
“Ritwik.. where is Vansh?”
“Here, Sweetheart.”
Vansh was standing at the door.
“We can talk at the dining table.”
Servant broke their talks and four of them took a seat.
“Where is Dadi and Siya?” Vansh asked.
“Badi Dadi and Dadi along with Siyu bua have went to temple, and Ishani bua and Angre chachu have went for shopping.” Ritwik told.
“For god sake Ritwik! Why are you hell bent to make my husband my brother?” Ishani scoffed taking her place.
“Breakfast time and shopping. Ishani?” Vansh became stern and her face went pale.
“Nups… It was some husband-wife thing. I don’t think we need to think so much. Wese… Who are those three in the potrait? I have not seen them.” Aditi said not letting anyone speak.
Ritwik murmured something under his breath and was glaring at Aditi. Aditi was confused but she glared at him back. Ritwik was now sending daggers with her eyes while Aditi confusingly opened her mouth to say something but couldn’t because of sobs.
All turned to see Riddhima crying. She left from there to her room followed by Vansh. Now everyone was glaring at her.
“I..I…am…m… sorry…I didn’t mean..to…you know…I am sorry.” Aditi too left from there feeling guilty.
Ritwik was silently sitting their in deep thoughts when he felt hand on his shoulder. It was Ishani.
“Don’t worry. They will be fine.” Ishani said.
“I warned her not to… he did a mistake.” Ritwik said trying not cry.
“Don’t worry Ritwik. They got their punishment.” Ishani said.
“But what about us bua? Why did we get a punishment wih no mistake? Since 15 years… 15 years I have never seen Mumma not missing her. She always tried to recollect everything in her heart.”
Ritwik left the table too.
In the room, Riddhima was crying sitting on the bed while Vansh shedding silent tears rubbed her back to calm her down.
“Riddhima…you can’t fall week na? For Ritwik? Please stop crying. I can’t see you like this.” Vansh nearly cried.
Riddhima wiped her and his tears too. Still hugging him.
“Let’s get back.” Riddhima said and they left downstairs again.
Riddhima and Vansh reach back taking their seats. Riddhima saw Aditi was missing but she didn’t say anything.
“Aditi is our Vanya” Ritwik said making Vansh choke on his food while Riddhima was speechless.
Riddhima gave Vansh a glass of water to drink.
“What!?” Riddhima squealed.
“Ma… First we need to clear up the mess. She wants to know how she was lost. That can be the clue to our wishes coming true.” Ritwik said.
Everyone was sitting in the hall looking at Aditi who was just waiting for someone to speak tapping her legs.
“Should I leave?” She asked.
“No!!” Everyone stopped her.
“Ok then…. (Sighs) tell .. what happened?”
Aditi made herself comfortable on the sofa.
“Vanya. We want to tell you about our daughter.” Riddhima said.
“You also think it’s me?” Aditi asked. Vansh and Riddhima nodded.
“You have birthmark on your left earlobe.” Riddhima said. Making Aditi sit straight looking at her.
“You are allergic to pine nuts, like me.” Vansh chuckled.
There was an utter silence for a while which was broken by her.
“Still that doesn’t proves I am your daughter. It can be a coincidence.” She scoffed.
“Everything can be a coincidence but not that V on your palm which was drawn by Ritwik only.” Riddhima said.
Aditi jumped on both of them and was now shedding happy tears. Riddhima and Vansh too hugged her back. It was an emotional moment to see as Ritwik was quietly adored them.
“How? How did this happen?” Aditi asked wiping her tears.
Vansh and Riddhima look at each other and tell….
Flashback
Riddhima was helping little Ritwik to get ready while Vansh was playing with Vanya.
“Oh Vansh… I need to get her ready… Give her back me.” Riddhima said combing Ritwik’s hairs.
“Riddhima do it later na, how will I live without you all for a week? Light (right) my baby?” Vansh said pinching her nose and Vanya giggled.
“Dad! Don’t pinch her nose. It will get bigger!” Ritwik said jumping trying to take Vanya from her.
“Oh ho Ritwik let me play with her, you can do it after I leave ok?” Vansh picked Ritwik too, in his arms.
“Dad look at Vanu’s hand. I have written V in her hand and R in mine. See!” Ritwik showed her hand to Vansh and Riddhima and they both kissed both of thier arms.
“Vanya come let’s go.”
” Bloooooo” (bro)
Vansh and Riddhima laugh seeing their Vanya holding Ritwik’s hand and they both leave the room. Taking a seat on the bed, Vansh hugs Riddhima.
“So my this kid also wants to get ready?” Riddhima asked ruffling his hairs.
“Ohh of course, I would love to…(eyeing her lips) have these ..”
Riddhima frowned and pushed Vansh making him fall on the bed.
“Come on Vansh, we have 2 kids now.” Riddhima pouted angrily.
“Right… We have two kids…. But you are still the same…” Vansh kisses on her cheeks.
Riddhima hugged Vansh.
“Riddhima, I am thinking to have a vacation after by business trip. Your thoughts?” Vansh asked sniffing her scent.
“Right… Nice idea. But it needs lots of preparation.” Riddhima said.
“So done, we will go soon.”
Vansh kissed Riddhima on her lips and she too responded cupping his face, after a while they parted.
“Will miss you.” Riddhima said.
“Miss you too sweetheart, don’t worry. I will be back soon.” Vansh kissed her forehead and Vansh left.
Everyone bid bye to Vansh as he left including Ritwik, Vanya and Riddhima. The trio came back to their room.
“Mumma… When wil Dad be back?” Ritwik asked.
“Why?” Riddhima asked
“Vanya misses him na…. that’s why.” Riddhima giggled and Ritwik’s statement and started tickling him and he laughed loudly. Vanya clapped her hands seeing both of them.
All of a sudden, there was sounds of loads of bullets being shoot from all the sides of the mansion. Riddhima picked up Vanya holding Ritwik’s hand and the trio rushed inside the washroom. Riddhima locked it properly calling Vansh while Ritwik was trying to make Vanya stop crying.
“Vansh please pick up the phone….” Riddhima murmured but it was not reachable.
Here, Vansh was sweating on his way to his private jet. He took out his phone and there was picture of Riddhima, Ritwik and Vanya as the wallpaper. He carressed it and tried calling Riddhima but it was too, not reaching.
Riddhima called Angre and it worked….
“Angre! What is happening!!” Riddhima screamed kn the phone.
“Bhabhi these men’s are sent by someone. I have taken everyone to the safe room but ..I am trying to reach you… Are you all ok?” Angre was highly stressed by what happened all of a sudden.
“Yes we are fine. We are in the washroom and I have closed everything.” Riddhima replied.
“Bhabhi… I can’t…come…can you please? I mean the main door is bulletproof and locked right now. I am below the stairs… You just have to reach here…” Angre didn’t want to do so….but he was himself not able to do anything.
“Okk I will try…” Riddhima replied and declined the phone. She was planning everything in mind when Ritwik shouted loudly… Riddhima rushed to hima nd saw he slipped and his leg was sprained. It was more tough for Riddhima now.
Not trying to waste time, Riddhima picked up both Ritwik and Vanya in her arms and rushed out of the room directly down the stairs. Angre was there along with Aryan.
“Shit What happened?” Angre asked seeing Ritwik’s dried tears.
“He sprained his leg…” Riddhima replied panting trying to shush Vanya from crying by the loud bullet noises.
“Firstly, I will reach the backdoor, and then Bhabhi, Aryan you come along with the kids ” Angre executed the plan and both nodded.
Angre had just peeked and saw everything was clear. He took a few more steps but alas! He was shot by a bullet in his arms and Aryan pulled him back in time before anything else could happen.
Riddhima was very tensed seeing Angre and handed over sleeping Vanya to Aryan.
She took her dupatta and tore it in half. She had done this before, she took the bullet out and tied it perfectly. Ritwik again climbed back on Riddhima as he was not able to stand properly.
“Ritwik come to chachu… Your mumma needs to help him.” Aryan said so that Riddhima could help Angre to stand up.
“No!” Ritwik cried.
“Ok ok Ritwik, just let me help him ok?”
Riddhima shushed him and helped Angre to stand up.
There came the savior, Vansh. Marking his entrance from the backdoor, two pistols in his hands, he shoots all the men out there and reaches to Angre and Riddhima.
“We need to leave faster they have planted a bomb here!” Vansh helped Angre while Riddhima along with Ritwik and Aryan headed outside. Reaching out of the gate, Riddhima realised that something is missing…
“Vanya!!”
Riddhima screamed looking at Aryan who was smiling. Riddhima pulls him by his collar.
“Where is my Vanya!!!” Riddhima screamed.
“Inside the Mansion, go! Get her.” Aryan replied as if nothing happened.
Riddhima looked at Vansh with her tearful eyes and Vansh headed back inside, but it was late. As soon as Vansh went ahead
Boom!
The mansion was blasted. Totally finished. Vansh was on the floor due to heavy force, he also got hurt.
Riddhima was totally broken… Nothing seems possible for her. Tears continued making her face wet, her sobs had no control. Ritwik hugged her tightly shedding tears as Riddhima was now crying like it had no end…
Flashback ends
“But…then how am I alive?” Vanya (Aditi) asked.
“The people whom you lived in these years with will tell.” Ritwik exclaimed.
“I am not going back! Not at all!” Vanya said hugging Riddhima and Vansh “I got my mumma and papa back. Now I will not go anywhere.” Vanya smiled.
“Ok we will not go. Happy?” Riddhima kissed her forehead.
“Very much!” Vanya exclaimed.
“Don’t you think this moments needs a celebration? A party!” Ritwik jumped on the couch sitting next to Ishangre.
“A family get together.” Said Vansh. “I got my princess back. Now no more tears, only smiles… We are having a grand get together AND party tomorrow!”
