One of the most popular sitcoms of Indian Television, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was recently in the news for the rumours of Munmun Dutta aka Babita ji quitting the show.
The actress has been missing from the sets for the last few schedules and hence the speculations started floating. Putting an end to all the rumors, the makers of the show have confirmed that Munmun is very much a part of the show.
Neela Film Productions Pvt Ltd owned by Asitt Kumar Modi confirmed the news and said, “Munmun Dutta continues to remain part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Babita ji. Any rumors about her quitting the show are baseless and incorrect.”
According to a reliable sources close to the show, ” Munmun was away from the show as no storyline featuring her was introduced and hence she is not shooting for the show these days and missing from TMKOC”.
Munmun Dutta essays the role of a beautiful Bengali lady, who is married to a south Indian Mr Iyer. Babita Ji is also Jethalal’s secret crush and the character is loved for her performance on the show.
