Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi’s Return & Dayaben’s Anticipation in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”

The popular television show, “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” has brought back the character of Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi, portrayed by Mona Mevawalla, succeeding Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal. However, the ardent fans of the show remain eagerly hopeful for Disha Vakani’s reprisal of her iconic role as Dayaben.

Palak Sindhwani, known for her role as Sonu in the series, delighted fans by sharing a glimpse of her recent visit to Dilip Joshi’s son’s wedding on her Instagram. In the post, she posed alongside the cast of “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.” Notably, the attention was captured by Disha Vakani and her daughter joining the gathering. Palak’s post showcased Nitesh, Snehal, Ambika, Sunayana, and others from the cast, mingling with Disha and her daughter at the wedding.

Further glimpses from the wedding emerged through Snehal, Mandar’s wife, who shared a collective picture of the entire cast posing together. Sachin, Mandar, and other cast members were spotted alongside their spouses, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

The speculation surrounding Disha Vakani’s potential return intensified as recent attempts to reintroduce Dayaben’s character failed to resonate with the audience. Disappointed fans even initiated a trend, “Boycott Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” expressing their longing for Dayaben’s comeback, which the makers couldn’t fulfill this time. Despite several previous expectations, Disha Vakani’s return as Dayaben remained uncertain.

Addressing the concerns, Asit Modi, the show’s creator, assured fans during an episode, expressing, “Daya bhabhi will return soon. I understand your disappointment. Your affection means a lot to us, and we are dedicated to bringing Daya bhabhi back to Gokuldham Society. Although we faced some challenges during Diwali, I promise you that in a few days, Daya Bhabhi will grace our screens again. Please stay connected and continue to support ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.'”
