Hi guys! Long time no see! Just last week my exams got over . so i am back.
Special thanks to Amnaa and Anee…ur message and comment respectively was the last push I needed to update…It made me realize people are still interested in reading my fanfic even though I haven’t updated since long. But I couldn’t update even of I wanted to. For one, the current track of SDCH has been quite a turn off for Kaanchi so i couldn’t write it then and my exams got over just last week and m still preparing for upcoming ones. But i do have a special treat for you guys at the end of this chapter.

Recap: so last time we learned that Riya is not as bad as she seems. She has reasons for being detached yet there is one special person who has managed to enter her heart. (We’ll learn who that is in this chapter.) Next we move on to Sanket who has been the most recent victim of cupid’s arrow and poor Priya has knowingly or unknowingly gotten entangled in this mess. On the other hand Pragya and Isha have learnt of Kaanchi’s marriage. Saanchi has cleared the entrance test. Gayatri’s plan of Riya and Kabir’s marriage got foiled due to Kaanchi’s marriage but seems like she has a new plan in mind to make things go her way.
—–Chapter 7—–
At Malhotra Mansion
After a long tiring day Priya returns home to see Gayatri giving orders to servants to make special arrangements. Not wanting to ruin her mood further, she goes to her room to freshen up.
Here in Priya’s room Riya is eagerly waiting for her to return. She still remembers her first day in this mansion.

The moment they entered the mansion Gayatri left with Anand to their room leaving Riya alone and lost. Wandering around Riya entered a room. As she stepped inside, Priya looked up from the book she is reading.
“Hey, you must be Riya right?”
“Uh..I…”
Riya knew it was Priya, her elder step sister and thus she was even nore apprehensive about this encounter.
Priya gestured her to sit on the bed beside her. Riya obeyed hesitantly. Taking it as a cue Priya called Veer.
“Veer! Veer! Kaha reh gaya tu? She’s already here yaar.”
Riya was totally confused and kind of guessed that this Veer along with Priya must have planned to prank her or something. She had heard from her mom that she her new father had a son who was a reputed prankster. First they would behave sweetly so she remains in the room and then prank her when she least expects it. But nothing like it happened. In fact Veer brought with him a big Dair milk silk for her that had a red ribbon on it.
“I didn’t know what you would like so thought chocolate would be the best option. After all who doesn’t like chocolates!”
“Hi! I am Veer. I am not really sure what’s the need of this grand welcome but if Priya di says it must be done. If you want to be my sister though, I have a few conditions. You have to sign this contract.”
“Veer! Yeh kya hai?”
“Oof di! Kam se kam ab toh meri marzi chalne do.”
Riya began reading the contract.
Conditions:
1) You will have to share your chocolates with us from now on and we will share ours with you.
2) You have to be my partner in crime because Priya di has rejected my offer. At times, we might need her help to get us out of the mess we would create, so you need to take some share of blame.
3) When Priya di doesnt agree to what I say, you have to play nice and help me convince her to do as I say.
More conditions will be added as situations crop up.
Riya couldn’t be more shocked.
“If I do this, will you be my friend?”
She looked at him with hopeful eyes.
“Di! Kya naseeb hai mera! Haaye???Itni kam umar mein I got FRIENDZONED! Bhalaai ka toh jamaana hi nahi raha”
“Oye nautanki chup kar. Ab voh chocolate kholein?”
“Yes! I will be the coolest bro you have.”
“Manzoor.”
And just like that, rest of the night was spent creating first of the chocolate nights, and purest of the bonds were formed.

Riya still remembers that night. In fact she still has that contract and red ribbon with her. One thing she definitely got out of her mom’s new husband, was a new family who loved her for who she was. She remembers how Gayatri used to scold her for eating chocolates frequently, for she would spoil her figure. (It was only an excuse to break the relationship between these 3 and Riya knew it).The moment Priya heard about scolding incident, a new routine began, of morning walk. Now those moments were not as frequent as before but she still cherishes them as they come by.
She was brought out of her reverie hearing Priya enter the room.
“Di! There’s a big problem. A guy is coming to see you.”
“Oh? Ok. Papa must have liked him or something. Nothing new.”
“No di. This guy isn’t really nice. Besides he won’t match you at all. Please don’t marry him.”
“Oof! I know you are going to miss me. Even I will miss you. But aren’t you getting a bit ahead of yourself? Abhi tak ladka aaya bhi nayi aur tu bidaai ki baat karne lag gayi.”
And Priya hugged her. Riya’s dam broke down.
‘Aapko kaise bataun di, the guy is selected by mum to take revenge on you. He is not going to be good at all. And the drugs thing, oh god! No I won’t let this marriage happen…no matter what. I will protect you. This is the least I can do for all the things you have done for me. I need to talk to Veer.’
“Riya, don’t worry. He must be a nice guy if Papa has selected him. Don’t worry. Now help me get ready. Chal na.”
At SDCH
A week after SDCH intership starts, we, see Pragya and Isha on recordroom duty.
“Abe yaar! Kasam se, aisa kya paap kiya humne ki humein yeh sazaa de di bhagwaan ne! Haaye???”
“Are wahi toh. Mera saara makeup bhi paseene ke saath beh jaata hai. Atleast mujhe yeh toh pata chala ki mera makeup waterproof nahi tha jaise uss dukaandaar ne bola tha. Uss lafange ko toh mein chhodungi nahi?”
“Oye maharani! Iss mein bhi tujhe apne makeup ki padi hai!”
“Dekh Pragya, ab humein kya pata tha ki jisee hum zindagi barbaad karne ki dhamkiyan de rahe the, humari zindagi ussi ke haathon mein hai!?”
“Haan, par hum toh achhe dost ka farz nibha rahe the! Par voh toh iss hospital ka bhagwaan nikla!”
“Agar Dr.Kabir bhagwaan hai toh Dr.Malhotra kaun?”
“Voh takla? Voh toh iss jagat ke parmatmaa. Devon ke dev Mahadev. Pata hai kyun?”
“Kyun?”
“Unke paas voh Nandi bail hai na- Dr.Adarsh. Aur gale mein voh naagin bhi toh hoti hai- Gayatri ji. Aur humari Ganga maiya bhi unka pichhaa nahi chhodti- Vaidehi ji!???”
“???Hahaha …maan gayi!”
“Chalo, kaam kar lete hai warna pata nahi aur kya kya karna padega!”
