Monalisa talks about her role in Bekaboo; says, “I will be seen in a 90s look”
Actress Monalisa who rose to fame with her stint in Bigg Boss is now all set for her new role in the show Bekaboo. Monalisa will be essaying a negative role in the show alongside Shalin Bhanot and Eisha Singh.
Talking about it during a recent interview, she said, “This show is unique and while shooting for it, I feel like I am shooting for a film because they are focusing on every small detail. I play the role of Yamini which is very interesting. There are many twists and turns in the show which I think people will enjoy. As an actor, I always try to do something different with the work I take up. Yamini too has different shades and that’s what I am excited about.”
She added, “They have kept my dressing very different, I will be seen in a 90s look. During those times how actresses like Madhuri Dixit and Divya Bharti used to dress up, it is similar to that. I am waiting to see people’s response to my look.”
Monalisa was last seen in Nazar, which was a supernatural show. When asked which genre does she enjoys watching, she replied, “These days people like supernatural shows. When I did Nazar, I didn’t know I would be able to do a role like that because I had only done Bhojpuri cinema until then. But people showered me with a lot of love then. I feel fantasy and supernatural shows are interesting for audiences and personally, I enjoy watching them too.”
