Mohit Malik who is all set to experience the adrenaline rush by performing the daredevil stunts in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 recently talked about his strengths, weaknesses and phobias during an interview with ETimes TV.
Mohit also revealed that his wife Aditie is scared that he might go overboard while doing the stunts. He shared, “I am very excited for this new journey of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. My strengths are I feel physically fitter and ready to take up any challenge. Another strength I’ve I feel is being spiritual and it is going to really help during stunts. I just want to experiment this, I have never tried this before and I want to do it when I will be doing any stunts like creepy crawlies or snakes, I will go in a very meditative stage. So, if I reach that stage there will be no looking back and I can do any stunt. That’s my strength I feel because I meditate a lot and it might help on Khatron ke Khiladi 12. Fear is all in the mind and if you can control your mind, you can overcome any fear. Let’s see what happens there at that moment.”
Mohit also talked about his fears and said, “My weakness is height and I don’t know how I will do stunts if it involves height. I think I will definitely get scared but I would like to do stunts so that I can overcome my fear. I want to face it and get rid of it. I don’t have any phobia as such. I used to think that I have a water phobia but it’s not. I’ve overcome that, the only fear I’ve right now is of heights and I am sure I’ll overcome that also through this show.”
Talking about staying away from his son Ekbir for such a long period for the first time. Mohit said, “It scares me, it’s heartbreaking and painful to even think about it that I am going to stay away from Ekbir for 1 month. It is a special bond and this time I am going to leave him and go for a show. But I also feel we should learn to stay alone. It is very important for all of us. We both will have to learn because tomorrow if I have to go for a film shoot for a longer schedule, it’s not necessary we will always be together all the time. He has to live with it.”
When asked about his prep for the show, the actor said, “Yes, I am learning to swim, underwater and I am working out regularly. These are the things I am prepping up for.”
