MMZ – I Love My Secret Admirer (Chp – 07)
Arjun and Radhika glues to the floor of not reacting after hearing Nandini’s words. Mala and Samrat looks at each other worriedly and is about to say something, but Nandini stops them signing her hand and looks for Mala an answer.
Samrat, “Arjun, suddenly she got ill and having a pain in chest. Just now Doctor came and treated her. She gave medicines to her but she is not ready to take anything and keep on asking you both”
Mala in turn looks at Radhika who is standing like a statue starring Nandini. Nandini’s eyes also moved to Radhika and signs her to come to her. Like a doll, Radhu walks to her and sit beside her by holding her hand.
Nandini takes her hands and place a gentle kiss on her hand asking, “I like you so much Radhika. After I met you, you have got a strong place in my heart, though I had many options for my Arjun but my heart chose you…only you. Only you can be the best match for Arjun. I know this will shock you more but I can’t hide my feelings. I want my son to live a happy life and that can be fulfilled only by you”
Radhika stares her for some time and suddenly she doubts something and glares her face keenly. She thinks, “May be, aunty is doing acting like before. She might be using the same trick to me also as how she did it to bring Arjun back to India. But how to confirm it?”
She lost in that deep thought and gets shaken by Mala asking her, “What are you thinking?”
Rads, “Nothing Maa” she looks at Nandini and said, “Aunty, I can’t say anything immediately. I am very sorry but I need some time to tell my decision”
Nandini gets upset and thinks, “Why did she say like that? Is my acting not enough? How come, I did react correctly and gave proper emotions right? Has she caught my acting?”
Nandini’s thoughts interrupted listening Samrat, “Radhu beta, don’t worry. You can take time and in the meanwhile I will also talk to Nandini about this. Now she is not well and blabbering something”
Nandini’s mind voice, “Blabber? Huh? This old man himself won’t do anything and if I am doing then also he is not let it work. I should stop them taking time” she looks at Arjun with tears form in her eyes and signs him to come to her.
Even Arjun is just observing everything there and silently walks to his mom. He sit on the other side of his mom holding her another hand and she continues, “Arjun, I know I am forcing my wish on you which I don’t want. But this is my last wish, after I am not sure I may be alive or not to be with you but I will die seeing you as a bride groom and live your life happily with the best girl like Radhika. You believe your mom right…have I ever thought to do any wrong for you. My choice will always be the best for you right and you said this to me. Now Radhika is my choice for you. I hope you agree for me…it’s my last wish Arjun. I will never ask anything from you after this” she perfectly did her acting to make everyone gets emotional including Radhika who thinks she is ill for real.
Arjun holds her hands tightly and thinks for a while making others wait for him to open up. She looks at Radhika who is on the other side and said, “As you wish Maa. I agree for this marriage”
Radhika is shocked to a great extent blinks at him, Mala and Samrat gets happy somehow and the most happiest person is Nandini who wants to rejoice this moment but controls her emotions and said, “Thank you so much Arjun”.
Arjun helps her to sit leaning on the dashboard of the bed and tells her, “First have the medicines and will talk about the marriage later”
Nandini smiles and happily takes the medicine given by Arjun. She slides down to her and close her eyes as if the medicine has an effect on her. All leave the room leaving her to take rest.
Samrat, “Arjun, have you agreed it whole heartedly?”
Arjun, “No Dad, just for mom…I said I agree”
Radhika is little upset hearing him and she is oblivious of the reason herself.
Samrat, “But why? You are giving false hopes to both Nandini and Radhika”
Arjun, “Dad, Mom is not well and this is not right time to argue with her. I will tell her once she is up tomorrow and will handle her” and he turns to Radhika and said, “Radhika, I know you too got worried listening all this. Don’t worry…You no need to sacrifice your life for my family. And I agreed for mom just to handle that time and want to make her have the medicines. So I hope you won’t…”
Before he says Radhika interrupts, “I can understand Sir. You no need to be sorry. It’s already late, we have to leave now”
Samrat, “Leave in our car. I will ask driver to drop you in home” Mala and Radhika without any further argument leaves to their home in their car.
All the way Radhika lost in deep thoughts and gets in confusion about her stand in this matter and an anonymous feeling disturbs her a lot and raises a question, “What will Nandini aunty do once she knows all this is a drama”
Radhika gets refresh and changes into her night suite and drops her body on the bed. Sleep is far away from her, she keeps on rolling on the bed and at once she got up and sits straight holding her head.
Mirage of her appears in front of her to make her confuse more, “Hello Ms.Real”
Radhika lifts her head up and gets surprised seeing her mirage, “You?”
Mirage, “Yes, Why you don’t like to see me?”
Radhika, “Yes, you always come to confuse me”
Mirage, “No babyma, I always comes to clear ur confusion”
Radhu makes faces keeps her palm on her cheeks for a support and said,”If I say no also you will not go without talking to me. Say whatever you want”
Mirage smirks, “Why you asked time to say yes to marry Arjun”
Radhu jerks, “Why should I say yes?”
Mirage, “Because you love him na”
Radhu, “WHAT? WHEN DID I TELL THAT I LOVE HIM”
Mirage, “Few things need not to tell orally. We have to realize it when the right time comes and you too realized it”
Radhu, “Stop your nonsense. I never got that kind of thoughts in me. Don’t bluff and get lost”
Mirage, “Why are you hiding your feelings Radhu? I know you growing feelings for him but you are not realizing it”
Radhu, “Just leave from here and don’t make me confused more”
Mirage, “I am not here to confuse you dear, in fact I came to make yourself clear what is there in your heart”
Radhu, “What’s there in my heart?”
Mirage, “You love Arjun”
Radhu, “Okay, let it be but Arjun loves someone else”
Mirage, “How come you know this?”
Radhu, “I am with him all the time and I know his interest on someone else”
Mirage, “Who is that someone else?”
Radhu, “His secret Admirer”
Mirage, “And who is that?”
Radhu, “Me”
Mirage, “That’s it. It’s clear now.”
Radhu with irritating reaction, “What are you saying? I don’t understand anything”
Mirage, “Baby ma, You love Arjun, Arjun loves his secret admirer and that secret admirer is none other than you, so automatically Arjun loves Radhika and it’s YOU”
Radhu lost in deep thinking and the Mirage smiles looking at her confused face and gets disappeared saying, “My job is over”
Don’t know when but Radhika fell asleep having the confused thoughts in her mind and got up late in the next day morning.
She gets late for office and reached 10 mins late after Arjun reached his office. Without knocking she barges inside the room where she has a cabin beside Arjun’s. Before she reaches his place a strong and angry voice stops her, This is not your home Radhika, anytime coming and going. Punctuality is more important for me and I want you to follow the timings being my PA.”
Radhika stop moving wherever she is and just turns her head back to see the angry Arjun, as she expected his face shows his anger and tension in his face. She wants to go and ask him the reason for that but at that same time she did not have that much guts to face him at this point.
She stammers, “Sorry Sir…I won’t repeat this anymore”
Arjun smirks, “Absolutely, you no need to repeat this because you are not going to be my PA soon”
Radhika gets shocked and blinks at him who is walking towards her. She did not understand what he meant and asked, “What do you mean by that sir?”
Arjun comes very close to her making her move a step back and said, “You understood correctly. You are not going to be my PA very soon”
Radhika still in shock, “But why?”
Arjun, “Because, My mom won’t like her daughter-in-law works as a PA and that too for her husband”
Radhika takes time to grasp what she heard and what she understood. She whispered, “What are you saying?”
Arjun keeps starring her and Flashback of the morning incident,
Nandini wakes up from her sleep and remembers last night conversation. She smiles happily and goes out from her room, Samrat comes there and stops her saying, “Where are you going? You are not well and you have to take rest”
Nandini, “I am alright. After hearing Arjun’s approval how can I sit idle? I have lot of work to do”
Arjun comes to her and stops her saying, “Mom, first we have to concentrate on your health then the rest. You please listen to me and take rest. As I said we will talk the marriage part later”
Nandini, “Why later? You agreed to marry Radhika right?”
Arjun, “Haan Maa, I agreed. But this is not the time for that. Your health is more important for me than my marriage”
Nandini, “So, my health is important right?”
Arjun, “Yes”
Nandini, “Then your marriage with Radhika is the best medicine for me”
Samrat and Arjun says together, “Nandini”, “Mom”
Nandini sighs, “What”
Arjun, “I…I don’t want my marriage now” he stammers and said what he wants to but with very difficult.
Nandini gets angry now and shouts, “So you did acting yesterday”
Arjun tries to hold her but she shoves him away saying, “Nobody in this house caring for me. No respect for my wish” she starts shedding tears.
Arjun, “But Radhika did not agree yet and not sure whether she will agree or not”
Nandini, “Why she won’t agree? Who can say No for my Arjun? She will definitely say yes to marry you”
Samrat signs him to keep quiet but Nandini continues, “Radhika is my daughter-in-law and that’s final. I want this marriage to happen soon. Rest you all decide” by saying this she goes to her room and locks her inside.
FB over,
Radhika sits on the couch with a thud and blinks. Arjun sits beside her and said, “I really don’t know how to convince her. Now it’s you who has to refuse this marriage”
Rads, “How can i? What reason I can say?”
Arjun, “Say something. Something wrong about me. Like I misbehaved with you and having affairs before marriage”
Rads gives him a sharp look and he understands what she wants to say and continues, “It’s ok, all r lies right”
Arjun, “Say something and refuse this marriage Radhika”
Rads gets upset and remembers her convo with her Mirage and she now wants to know the real reason behind his refusal for this marriage.
Rads, “Sir, if you don’t mind, can you share me the reason why you are not interested for this marriage”
Arjun, “That’s not needed for you to know Radhika. Just do what I asked you to”
Rads ego kicks her and she replied with same attitude, “I won’t sir. I really don’t have a problem in marrying you, after all who can so No to this Mr. Arjun Mehra?” and she walks to her place leaving him shocked and surprised hearing her and he remembers how Nandini repeated the same line.
Arjun, “Okay Deal. Because I love someone else”
Rads, “You should have said this to aunty”
Arjun, “I can’t”
Rads, “Why?”
Arjun, “Because even I don’t know about her and never seen her before”
Rads heart beating fast to hear those words from his mouth and she said, “I don’t understand”
Arjun, “I mean I love the person whom I never seen. And you too know her”
Rads, “Me?” she is giving her best in acting as if she don’t know.
Arjun, “The one who gives me the flowers and secret messages, Initially I was like curious and then it turns out to be an interest and now I feel that without seeing her face…I fallen in love with her. And don’t ask me when and how? It just happened…that’s why I need some time to find her and till then I don’t want my marriage. I seriously request you now to say some bullshit reason to refuse this marriage”
Radhika feels like flying but at the same time she feels little sad and says, “I will say NO to marry you” by saying that she walks to her place and continues her work without even giving him a look.
Arjun smiles relaxingly and dials to the flower shop which Radhika used to order flowers for him and gets upset hearing nothing for him as such.
He tells Radhika to continue her work and leaves from there to take a short break.
Radhika takes her mobile and dials to the same flower shop and orders on bouquet of roses and with a message.
After an hour Arjun returns to his cabin and seated to continue his work, meanwhile Radhika comes to him and hands him the bouquet and message to him.
He anxiously reads the message,
HI Arjun,
How are you? It’s been a long time I have sent you a message. I am not good without you Arjun. I just wanna be with you all the time. But I am afraid whether you will like me or not? I am not the one who has a beautiful face and pretty smile but I have the most lovable heart to keep you safe in. Arjun, I hope you remember that I told you to find me yourself. I am waiting for that day Arjun.
