Third person’s POV
It was morning and Arjun woke up and started for jogging. It was a bright day. Arjun was feeling happy to be back with his family. He missed them like hell. But then sacrifices should be made to achieve something in life. People don’t acheive things so easily. But he was happy that he had made that sacrifice. As because of him his company has reached new heights and was competing with international fashion houses. “Glitz” – its not a name. Its a brand. His papa was very much happy with this. After all this was what he strived for. A feeling of satisfaction swept his heart and he was enjoying the morning throughly.
While he was jogging he saw a fast food centre which used to be the place where all of his friends used and he used to hangout. He was so busy in observing that he did not observe a figure in front of him. And then he dashed with her. But before she could land on the ground his hands swiftly caught her.

Radhika was back to her regular schedule. She was happy that yesterday was over. She has put on her jogging suit and started jogging. While she was jogging she saw that her shoe laces had been untied. Arrrrgh how clumsy of her she thought and was while was looking at her shoes and prodding about her clumsiness she crashed with the person she had intended to never meet again. She expected a fall and closed her eyes but she felt two hands on her waist holding her from falling.
She opened her eyes and saw the person she was least expecting. Arjun
Arjun was shocked to see Radhika in his arms. As soon as Radhika opened her eyes she stared him with disbelief. This confused him. He was not an extra terrestrial being. Why was she seeing him like that with shock written all over her face? After all they met just yesterday. Radhika immediately straightened herself and was again expressionless.
“My apologies madam. Pardon me for my clumsiness” Arjun began dramatically to lighten the mood.
If this was the previous Radhika even she would have joined him in his drama. But this Radhika did not even smile.
“Thats okay Arjun. I should have been careful.” she told and was about to leave.
“So even you have the habit of jogging. Thats really good cause even if u lose money it can be earned back. But once u lose ur health it can never be earned back” Arjun added trying to initiate a conversation.
Radhika who was about to leave, at once stopped listening to his words. His words, his words exactly sounded like her father’s.
“Radhu get up beta. Please its time for our jogging. U have promised that u will join me today in jogging.” It was Dilip Mishra waking his princess Radhika up.
“Papa, why do u always do this? Why are u so hell bent on disturbing my beauty sleep? What is the use of this stupid jogging. I hate this. Plz na let me sleep papa.” Radhika pleaded.
“Radhu even if we lose our wealth we can earn it back. But if once your health is spoiled no amount of riches can make it the same. So its important to maintain your health and fitness. For that exercise is very important. So my princess get up fast get dressed.”
Radhika reminsced her father’s words. For a minute Arjun sounded exactly like her father.
“Radhika…” Arjun’s voice brought her back to this world.
“I am sorry Arjun I was lost somewhere. And ha ur views on health are very correct. But if u dont mind I have to leave. Ma must be worried.”
She muttered these words and left from there hurriedly. Arjun stared at her in amusement. This girl never fails to amaze him. She didn’t even wish him a bye and just walked off? He was not angry on her but he just smiled at the way she tried hard to be away from people. He wished he could help her. But he was nothing to her. So how could he help?
Little did the boy know that he is going to be the biggest change of her life.
Arjun returned home, freshed up and was blissfully getting ready to leave for office unaware of the turmoil he caused in Radhika’s heart.
Radhika all the way was replaying Arjun’s words. How could he sound like her father? Her dad was one in a million. How could his views and her father’s views match? She was so puzzled that she did not even realise that she reached home already. Her mother watched her lost and asked her what the matter was.
“Nothing ma. I was thinking about some project.” She lied.
She sighed. Her dad hated lies but here she was lying every minute to her mom. What else could she do? She could not share the pain in her. She should become the support of her mom and it should not be other way round. So she lied and hid all the pain inside her. Though her mom persuaded her to share her pain she did not as she did not want to hurt her mom by sharing her pain. Her mom is the only family left for her and she would not let sadness come near her mom.
She picked up the newspaper to have a track of the latest events.
“Radhika…..” Her mom was sitting beside her and was trying to tell something.
“What happened mom?”
“Don’t get angry and listen to me carefully. I have selected a guy for u. Can u please go on a date with him?”
She slowly and soothing told her.
“Mom, all the guys you set my date up with are just nothing but creeps. I have some conditions and none are ready accept them. If u find one who does so then tell me. I will go on a date with him. But don’t send me on dates with cheap guys like the ones I previously met.”
Her mom sighed. She knew it was next to impossible to get a boy agree to Radhika’s conditions. One of them was that Radhika is going to bring her mom to her sasural. On hearing this condition many of the so called prospective grooms backed off. Some even told her that with this condition of hers she could never get married. But Radhika told them she would remain unmarried all her life rather than compromising on her condition.
On the other hand Arjun was now having mixed emotions on hearing the news his papa had in store for him.
“Arjun”
“Yes dad.”
“I am thinking of approaching Dreamz for being our ad agency. It is the top one and I think its high time I put this propsal in front of them.”
Arjun didnt know how to react.
Precap: “Good bye Miss Radhika Mishra. This is the end of our
friendship.” Neil uttered these words and barged out of the
room.
