Colors’ Karmphal Daata Shani recently got the entry of Rohit Khurana, who plays the grown up Shani. He has replaced child artiste Kartikey Malviya, who made a place in the viewers’ heart by his stunning performance. He has raised the show to another level. He got much appreciated for his portrayal. Rohit stepped in after the show took a leap of 10 years. He makes a debut in the mythological genre with Shani’s role. Rohit is also doing a challenging job to set Shani’s character higher. He is cast opposite Tina Dutta, who was his co-star in Colors’ show Uttaran. Tina plays the role of Shani’s wife Damini.
The story is based on the life of God Shani, who is much known for his wrath. The show depicts the deities Vishnu and Shiva as Shani’s mentors. The story had covered Shani’s tough childhood and emotional dilemmas. The show impressed the viewers with its amazing visuals and terrific sets. Shani is undoubtedly one of the best mythological shows. It will be soon replaced by Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopra starrer Bepannah at the 9 pm slot. Bepannah will be the new offering from the channel in early 2018. Would you miss Colors’ Shani? Let us know your opinion.

If Shani is going off air then we’ll definitely miss it but there is no confirmation regarding this

why cant they pull of sasural simar ka, kasam and udan instead of shani. SSk again started super natural stories i dont know which animal or insect is left now to play a super natural character in this show.
Agree completely….. I didn’t know who are the great MAHANS WHO ARE STILL WATCHING SSK WITH SUCH GREAT PATIENCE AND INCREASING ITS TRP….. rather than increasing TRPS of shows like Shani………
Well, they didn’t show us the epic “Ram part”, Hanuman saving Shani from Ravan…. So yep, I’ll miss it.
I’ll be very much disappointed & will really really miss Shani Dev.
I started watching Shani as it’s shown in my regional language.
But I’m really loving Shani & Dhamini story nowadays,& they are gonna pull it off.
Also wanted to see Shani- Hanuman story where Hanumanji rescues Shani Dev.
I really hope they’ll find another timing for Bepanah. It’d be better if they pull of SSK, Udaan or Kasam?

Tell me TU, is this any kind of TRP improving strategy… But, shani serial doesn’t require any of those… Why in early 2018… One of the mythology serials that crossed one year… DKDM stood up right… Mahabharat – less than a year because, the story finished… But, what is wrong here…
There are a lot of stories in shani dev’s life yet to come… Treta yug and Dwapar yug are yet to come right… The curse… and ravan… and a lot more especially Hanumanji, cancellation of Mata Yami’s wedding with Mangal dev… Tapti river’s birth as Surya putri and the manus… Shani dev’s children… Then how could even imagine to wind up by early 2018…
As a potential audience of this serial.. I, Kamalanayani – hereby order that karmphal daata Shani serial should not go off air till 2019…
The remaining serials… except Mahakaali for sure… could be taken away… We people are asking Colors to schedule the serial on Saturday also, but how dare you to pull off the serial… Shani putri Kamalanayani ofcourse hates this wind up… And its an order… Don’t dare to make this anuchith karm..

We’ll. Surely miss Shani dev. It’s a great show. Also very appealing. Why can’t the channel end Sasural Simar Ka or Kasam orUdaan. This is a very good going show. It’s not fair to end Karmfal Daata Shani show. We all love the show very much.

The real Saturn, Shani’s effect will continue in this cosmos. The serial was great until the writers overplayed the Sandhya evil. Shani will affect other serials. Look what Mercury retrograde by did in early December. Lol! Too bad because lesser, more foolish and cheap stories have more appeal to audiences who enjoy worldly, depraved storylines with pseudo social commentary but what is in fact promoting value less western idealism.

Trying to keep up with it. I am analysing other serials in the context that modern or big corporate television is not independent of world agendas through the themes of mainstream shows. India is not alternative tv. In fact, on the contrart, it fits the mould and quality television does not exist at all. All the serials have turned up the evil thermometer. Fame, fortune is big business and the entertainment formulas are applied.
