Raghav tells Sulekha that he has come to fix everything. Sulekha replies that since he wants to make things right, she is giving him a chance, but he must choose: his family or Mishri. She demands an answer immediately. Raghav hesitates, unable to respond. Sulekha says she knew he wouldn’t have an answer and has already made up her mind. She asks Chithra to bring the aarti thaal and instructs Vaani to dip her hands in red-colored water and place her handprints on the wall, declaring that Vaani is the rightful daughter-in-law of the house. Mishri feels emotional as she watches. Sulekha adds that these handprints will never fade, and then tells Raghav to leave. Mishri, holding back tears, looks emotionally at the deity, while Vaani mocks her, calling her nothing but a servant with no right to dream of living in the house as a daughter-in-law.
Vaani intentionally crosses Mishri’s path, causing her to lose her balance and hit the wall. Vaani laughs at her, but Mishri turns the situation around, pointing out that while Vaani tried to push her down, she fell in the right spot. Vaani is stunned to see that Mishri’s blood, from a nail that pierced her hand, has left a stain on the wall. Mishri says that this bloodstain is brighter and more lasting than Vaani’s handprint, symbolizing who the true daughter-in-law is. Vaani glares at her in anger.
Later, Raghav arrives at his office, only to be stopped by security. They tell him he’s no longer allowed to enter. Raghav protests, saying he’s the CEO and demands to know who ordered this. Sulekha steps in and reveals that she is behind it. Her lawyer explains that Raghav no longer has any authority, as all his powers have been revoked. She has taken control of the accounts and property, and he is no longer the owner. Furthermore, he is cut off from using any family money or assets. She tells him their family ties are severed, and he must return the office keys and credit cards.
Raghav is shocked. Vaani, watching from nearby, tells him that he still has a chance to change his mind and not lose everything because of Mishri. Sulekha pressures Raghav to leave Mishri, calling her an “unlucky servant” and saying he still has time to choose between his family, wealth, and a luxurious life, or Mishri. Despite this, Raghav stands firm and chooses Mishri. Sulekha, disappointed, leaves.
Later, Raghav is upset, but Mishri encourages him, telling him to focus on practical matters like buying groceries. He uses the little money he has left to buy what they need. Vaani mocks Mishri’s situation, but Mishri confidently replies and challenges her, vowing to return to the house and kick Vaani out. She then takes Raghav to a parking lot and shows him an old bus, suggesting he can drive the bus while she will be the conductor. Mishri expresses her love for him, showing her commitment to staying by his side no matter what.
Meanwhile, Vaani tells her mother that Raghav won’t be able to live without money and will eventually return to her. But Mishri remains determined to stand by Raghav, no matter the circumstances.
