Vaani keeps a close watch on Raghav and Mishri, believing that Raghav has chosen Mishri over her. She is determined to cut all ties with him. As she is about to leave, Mishri stops her and asks why she’s there. Vaani claims she came to take Parvathi home, and when Mishri accuses her of spying, Vaani denies it, saying Raghav invited her for food. However, she insults Mishri, saying she won’t eat the “dirty” food from her hands and can’t live this “poor” life. As Vaani tries to leave, she slips into a dirty area, and though she refuses Mishri’s help, Mishri still assists her, warning her not to look down on others. Raghav asks Mishri to bring Vaani inside, but Vaani hesitates.
Meanwhile, Sulekha scolds Parvathi for secretly meeting Raghav, reminding her that Raghav has no ties with their family anymore and warning her to follow the house rules or leave. Parvathi becomes emotional. Inside, Vaani constantly checks the stove, feeling she shouldn’t have come. Mishri offers her ointment for her wound, and Raghav asks her to stay for food, but Vaani refuses, pretending not to be hungry. Mishri insists Vaani apply the ointment before leaving so as not to dirty the house.
As Mishri prepares to cook, Vaani worries that the stove will explode and shouts in fear, surprising Raghav and Mishri. Vaani explains she’s afraid of the stove malfunctioning, but when nothing happens, she feels embarrassed. Later, Vaani recalls the shop owner sold her a defective stove, and in frustration, she kicks it, causing a fire. Vaani faints, but Mishri risks her life to save her. When Vaani regains consciousness, she blames Raghav for losing his home, claiming his bad luck started when he began living with Mishri. Raghav defends Mishri, reminding Vaani that Mishri saved her life.
Mishri asks Vaani if she deliberately set the fire, but Vaani denies it, saying she wouldn’t endanger herself. Mishri suggests it might be karma, and Raghav begins to suspect Vaani. Angrily, Vaani accuses Raghav of doubting her, just like Mishri does, and vows to prove Mishri is not a good person before storming off. Later, Raghav blames himself for everything, but Mishri comforts him.
