The #MeToo accusation against music composer Anu Malik became the talk of the town when he returned as a judge to this season of Indian Idol. But now, as the reports say the National Commission for Women has reportedly closed the #MeToo case against him.
According to the reports by Mumbai Mirror , the National Commission for Women (NCW) has decided to close the case on account of lack of communication or substantial evidence on the part of the complainant.
Singers Sona Mahapatra and Shweta Pandit were amongst the ones who accused Anu Malik and were also the ones who had taken to their social media handles against Anu Malik slamming the makers of Indian Idol for having him as a judge in spite of s*xual harassment allegations against him. Now the case has been closed and allegations being lifted upon.
