PART-19
Hello everyone, this is Tanz back with part-19 of my ff.Missed me?I missed you all a lot.So how are you all? How’s your life going on? I hope all’s good.and thanks all of you for commenting on my ff and giving your views about it, please keep doing the same. So, let’s start with this part…(It might be a long one so please bear with me)

Recap:Both Shivaay and Annika realise their feelings and are planning to propose each other and they take help from OmRu and Sahil respectively.As per their plan Annika and Shivaay are to stay back and everyone else would be going for the picnic.
Daadi :” It’s good you all are ready on time….we should start for the picnic spot now so that we reach there by 8 am as it would take almost 1hr.”
Saahil:”How are we going Daadi?”
Annika:”Koi puchne waali baat hai…. helicopter se hi Jao….jayenge….SSO style you know.”
Shivaay(while coming towards the hall from inside):”It’s called a chopper Annika.”
Annika:”Haan it’s the….(realising that it was Shivaay)….the….the same (and turns her head the other side so as not to have an anxiety attack)”
Shivaay (on the outside he seems to be the same cool SSO but on the inside, all of the world’s butterflies were dancing in his stomach):”By the way… You all are going by a mini-bus and not by a chopper”
Saahil:”Oh wow… It would be so much fun….so what are we waiting for let’s go”
Om(winks at Rudra):”Ya let’s go…. everyone take your things.”
Rudra(acting):”Oh No.How could I forget that?Oh I am such an idiot ….. how could I?”
Daadi (acting along with him):”Now what did you forget Rudra?”
Rudra:”Wo actually Daadi…. I had ordered a limited edition fitness tracker…..It was going to be delivered today…”
Jhanvi:”So what’s the big deal Rudra? Cancel the order now and order it afterwards.”
Rudra:”No mom you don’t understand…. it’s limited edition….if I cancel the order now…. I won’t be able to get it later…. someone has to stayback to receive it….”
Daadi:”The house staff will receive it Rudra….”
Rudra:”No Daadi. I’ve ordered it on the name of Oberoi’s industries so only an Oberoi can take it… I can’t stay back because without me there would be no fun in the trip…”
Saahil and Saumya (Together):”Oh please….”
Rudra(ignoring them):”O would you please stay back for now and come later?”
Om:”No Way. I’m not going to miss this trip for your silly fitness tracker.”
Rudra(with a dejected look on his face):”Sumo…..?”
Saumya:”NO.Don’t even think I would…”
Rudra:”No one is ready to stay back for 1 or 2 hrs for me…..You all are so selfish…..(turning towards Shivaay) but I’m sure Shivaay bhaiya won’t say no….Please Bhaiya….”
Shivaay(after some thinking):”Ok Rudra…. I’ll stay back ….happy now?(after a little pause he continued so as to not cause any suspicion about his agreeing so easily)… Moreover, I’ve some pending office work…I’ll finish that too….”
Rudra(Hugging Shivaay):”You are the best….”
Pinky:”But you’ll miss all the fun….. you’ll be so late….”
Shivaay:”Don’t worry Mom I’ll leave as soon as my work is over….If I’m late, I’ll come by chopper….So I’ll not miss anything…. I’ll keep you informed ”
Jhanvi:”Ok…so let’s move… I don’t want to get stuck in the traffic.”
Om:”Sure Mom…(Annika looks at Om and signals him)….but Shivaay won’t you get bored alone?…. Annika,why don’t you stay back with him to accompany him….”
Annika (acting):”Me?”
Om:”Yeah….. you’ll also get to come in the chopper… I thought you might want to come in it as you were so excited about it earlier….”
Annika:”OK….if you’re saying, I will also stay back….”
Om:”Ok. So I guess we should go now. Bye Shivaay and Annika, we’ll meet you later…”
All of them except Shivaay and Annika leave in the bus for the picnic spot.There’s a couple of minutes of awkward silence. To make the situation light and also favourable, Annika tries to start a conversation.
Annika:”So…..Shivaay….How much time would it take to complete your work?”
Shivaay:”(under his breath)that depends on you….(aloud)ummm….not much”
Annika:”Okay….”
Shivaay:”Okay…..”
Annika:”What okay…go…do your work….”
Shivaay:”Ya… I’m going…”
Shivaay leaves for his room, leaving Annika alone there.
Annika’s POV
Oh come on…. you’re Annika…. the great Annika…. you’re not afraid of anything then why this. I just have to propose him, just tell him about my feelings. It’s so simple. But is it that simple as it seems to be?What if he doesn’t feel the same way as I feel about him? What would I do then…. What if he rejects me?but wait …why would he reject me…. I’m smart…Yes…. I’m intelligent….wo toh god-gift hai….and I’m khidkitod Khoobsurat….He has no reason to reject me…huh….These negative thoughts are just a waste of time, I’ll go and just tell him my feelings and let’s see what happens then.
POV ends
Annika goes towards Shivaay’s room with a determined mind and during the short journey , she keeps herself reminding that ‘she can do it’.She enters Shivaay’s room without knocking at the door and finds him standing at the window facing the pool area(i.e. Annika was facing Shivaay’s back)
Annika (thinking):”Keh rahe the kaam hai aur yaha par to ye nazaare dekh rahe hai(He was saying he had to do work and he’s enjoying the scene here) ….Khair (anyways)….. Shivaay,I need to speak to you…”
Shivaay (while turning):”Yes?”
Annika:”No no….. don’t turn…. keep standing like that….(Shivaay moves back to his original position)….Ok So …. I wanted to say that….. that”
Shivaay:”Will you speak something now?Or do you want me to stand here all day and talk to you?”
Annika (nervously): I’m speaking na… I wanted to say(she takes a deep breath and finally lets out all her feelings)….That I LOVE YOU Shivaay….yes I, Annika am in love with the great SSO…. I don’t know how it happened….but it just happened….I was falling in love with you over time.Shocking, right?You fall in love with the person you fight with the most…..but I’ve understood over time that we only fight with those people who have a special place in our heart….Well, let me be very clear here…. it’s not infatuation nor love at first sight…. I love everything about you… ummm…not everything but yeah most of the things…The best thing about you is your goodness… ofcourse in combination with your tadi….The second thing which I love about you is your Kanji eyes. I know I haven’t told this earlier, but I seriously dig those eyes….the next thing is how you move your fingers through your hair with tadi….and the next…..”
Shivaay (turns to face her):”So….Mishra what do you want me to do with that story of yours (he sees Annika)Ok do whatever you want but I don’t want my company to bear any loss due to your irresponsible behaviour(Shivaay disconnects the call and takes off the bluetooth from his ear)….Yes Annika?Did you say anything?”
The cheerful smile on Annika’s face slowly faded and slowly expressions of anger took it’s place.
Annika (Trying to control her anger):”You were talking to someone else?”
Shivaay:”Yes. I was to talking to my employee Mishra.So?”
Annika:”You didn’t listen to whatever I said?”
Shivaay:”I’m sorry. No.What were you saying?”
Annika (anger mixed disappointment):”Oh me? Nothing important… I just came to ask if you’ll eat anything?”
Shivaay:”Yeah sure, why not? There are some sandwiches kept in the fridge.. I’m going to the terrace….You bring those sandwiches along and we’ll eat together .Ok?”
Annika:”Yeah…Yeah . You go ,I’ll just come.”
Before she could burst like a Volcano, Annika makes a hasty exit and reaches the kitchen while muttering with anger , disappointment and disbelief.
Annika:”Sandwiches…..Mr.SSO wants sandwiches(while out sandwiches from the fridge)…..meri saari mehnat bhaad me jaaye, aur ye sandwich khaaye….waah….(all my hard work goes in vain, and he eats sandwich…great)…. Bluetooth….Damn that Bluetooth…aur Baal itne bade kar rakhe hain ki dikhayi bhi nahi deta…..Baal nahi ….. baalo ka jungle hai….Haan bas conditioned rehta hai(and his hairs are so long that the bluetooth is not even visible… it’s not hair…. it’s a jungle….. just that it’s a conditioned one)…..Huh….. Now I am not going to propose him again….If he wants to, he can do that himself….”
Still muttering, Annika leaves for terrace with the plate of Sandwiches in her hand, banging her feet on the ground to vent out her anger.

You all must be tired after reading for so long So I’ll not speak much. Just that, I’m really sorry for being late and also that this ff is going to end with the next part (part-20).So please, all the readers(silent readers too) let me known if you liked my ff.If you did, which part till now did you like the most?You can also tell me if you didn’t like any part….
