How I met my healer (chapter 12)

She heard a voice and opened her eyes and saw him sitting there.

“Good morning baccha” Shivaay said.” I know you are hurt and it’s totally justified but at least think about her. Do you really think she wanted to hurt you? She can’t even think to hurt you even in her dreams. She was just scared to lose you. She married that beast Reyhaan for your sake. ”

This came as a shock to her. She never thought that the reason of marrying Reyhaan could be her.

“Bhai I want to be alone”

“OK then! “He replied an left.

Swara got up, her legs trembling. She bolted the door of the washroom and turned on the shower, thinking about the recent happenings. A lot happened since yesterday that was too much for Swara to take in- her sister confessing about them being adoptive sister, Shivaay telling her Anika’s marriage truth.

She remembered the day when she found out Reyhaan’s truth.

Flashback
Swara was going to Anika’s room. The door was ajar.

What she saw next shook her to the core.

Anika was crying. Reyhaan unbuckled his belt and started to hit her. Her sister was victim of domestic violence.

Tears welled up her eyes. She suffered because of her. Didn’t she trust her enough?

She turned off the shower. Took towel and her clothes and changed into a white tee and black shorts.

She took a deep breath and moved towards Anika’s room. The door was left ajar. She entered and her heart sinked seeing her state. She was sitting on the ground hugging her knees.

Swara sat in front of her and tapped her shoulder. Anika looked at her. Her hair dishelved, eyes puffy and red.

Anika immediately pulled her in a tight hug, those unshed tears started spilling out. Swara felt her shirt wet with her tears.

“I’m sorry” she mumbled.” You know na I love you a lot and relations are made by heart, right?”

“I know di but I was hurt by the fact that you lied to me” she said stroking her hairs gently.

“I’m sorry but my intention was never to hurt you. I was just scared. ”

Anika was guilty for lying to her while Swara was guilty that because of her she suffered so much. They say true all is well that ends well.

“But you were so mad at me what happened made your anger cool down?” Anika asked wiping her tears.

“All thanks to Shivaay bhaiya”

“What?”

“Yeah ”

Anika remembered the last night and immediately felt guilty. “Now how will I face him?” She thought.

Anika knocked the door of his cabin nervously and he asked her to come in. She entered and saw him immersed in his work. He was sitting on the couch. She sat beside him and started playing with her fingers. She couldn’t meet his eyes due to guilt. The guilt was eating her up.

“Shivaay” she said in a low voice.

“Yes” he said still busy in his work.

“I’m- I’m sorry” Anika said with guilt

Shivaay shifted his gaze to her an looked in her eyes. He was lost in those caramel brown eyes.

“It’s OK” he said pasting her cheek lightly.

She felt goosebumps with his touch. It sent shivers down her spine. Her hearty hammered. She could see immense care in those eyes.

His stomach started grumbling. “Want to go out somewhere? I’m starving.”

“Yeah OK! I know a good restaurant let’s go there.”

“What about a dhaba?”

“I have never been to a dhaba before”

“So let’s go today” he said holding her hand and leading her to the car.

Sanskar found a diary on his couch. ” It must be Swara’s” he thought as he remembered she came here today.

He threw himself upon the couch and flipped through the pages.

“It’s her personal diary. Should I read it?” He questioned himself as he closed the diary. After sometime, gathering some courage he opened it once again.

What an awesome day it was! I got the job! That too in oberoi industries. My boss, Shivaay Sir he’s so sweet. I’m on cloud nine. Tommorow is my first day. Know what! I got up late today and I would have been late if di didn’t wake me up. I did everything so hurriedly but thank god I reached in time.

Swara used to write daily. It seemed it was a routine for her.

He flipped through some pages when something caught his attention- Mr. Rude. It was diary entry of their first meeting, which was bound to leave this impression.

Everything was going smoothly all these days. Today Shivaay Sir was out for some meeting so I had to give presentation to Sanskar Sir. I heard that he’s really arrogant. Being the sensitive person I’m, I was really scared. I went in his cabin. He was in a pretty bad mood so he threw the file and twisted my arm. People call him by right name-Mr. Rude. Then di came to the office and started scolding him but I handled everything.

When I was leaving his cabin, to my utter shock he apologized. I never expected him to apologize. He left me amazed.

A curve appeared on his lips as he continued to read.

I’m in love. Yes I have fallen in love, that too with Sanskar oberoi.

I never thought that I would fall in love with him but someone has said true you fall in love with the most unexpected person in most unexpected time.

It is indeed true. Sanskar Oberoi was the most unexpected person. But what to do?!

Sanskar was shocked to read all of these. He didn’t knew what to do?!

“So what do you want to eat?” Shivaay asked her as they sat down on the wooden chair.

“I don’t know what they serve here. So you only give my order.”

“OK then! ” He said and signalled the waiter to take their order. “Bhaiya two plates of chole Puri. ”

“So have you been to a dhaba before? ”

“Yes dad used to take us as he was a bad cook. ” He giggled.

Anika smiled seeing him smile. Soon the waiter came and served the food. He just wanted to gobble all the food at once.

They finished their food and when they were about to leave, it started to rain.
Shivaay camee out and spread his arms open, feeling the water against his face. Cool breeze wiped his face.

He had always loved rain. There is a rhythm in falling of rain. He used to play in rain when he was a kid and often end up sick.

Anika stared him as if she was amazed and indeed she was.

“Shivaay you’ll fall sick, come back “she asked him, standing under the roof.

He walked to her and pulled her towards him and she landed on his chest. She could feel his breath on her face. Goosebumps erupted. She was shivering, not because she felt cold but by their closeness.

“Just feel the rain for once” he whispered in her ears.

His closeness was making her shiver. There was something she only felt when he was close. She felt herself pulled towards him. She obeyed and opened her arms.

“Don’t you feel good?” He asked.

She just shook her head.
