During Som’s haldi/turmeric ceremony, Rekha asks Kanchan to extend her pallu and drops coins in her it. She says they don’t take anything from daughters. She performs Som’s nazar with a money bundle and drops even it in Kanchan’s pallu. She then asks Som to apologize Kanchan for getting angry on her. Som apologizes Kanchan. Kanchan then plays her card and says she loves Som as her son more than Rahul and hence will apply haldi/turmeric to him first. Rekha agrees and asks her to put some haldi in a bowl to send it to Gaura. Kanchan adds haldi in Rekha’s bowl and asks Rahul and servant to go and personally handover haldi to Gaura.
Rekha takes haldi from servant and sending him to bring rose petals silently mixes itching powder in haldi. Servant takes that haldi bowl and another bowl to Gaura’s house. Family performs Som’s haldi riutal dancing around him. Ramesh’s girlfriend joins them and dances wildly. Ramesh drags her from there. Rekha feels sad seeing that and takes haldi for Twinkle. Biju’s aide brings an alcoholic and tells Rekha that he will acts as already married to Gaura in front of everyone and cancel Gaura and Som’s wedding. Alcoholic starts his jokergi. Rekha scolds him and asks aide to not let alcoholic make any mistake.
Guests wait for Gaura’s haldi ritual. Lakshmi orders her son to bring 20 rs loose haldi. Gaura says her skin will itch with adulteraed haldi. Lakshmi scolds her. Rahul and servant reach with haldi. Lakshmi applies haldi on herself leaving Gaura in tears. Harish enters and applies haldi to Gaura, leaving her emotional. Lakshmi starts itching and shouts something is mixed in haldi. After Som’s haldi, Kanchan informs Som that he needs to send his bathe water to Gaura. Som jokes that he himself will go and touch Gaura then. He walks towards his room when Gaura runs to him. He holds her. Water from sprinkler falls on them.
Precap: Gaura tells Som that her mother is dancing with itch after applying haldi. Rekha realizes Lakshmi applied Gaura’s haldi. Som asks Gaura about her college. Gaura reveals she is illiterate. Som sits in shock. Rekha rejoices.
