Bhavya reluctantly agrees to marry Rishank, a man she once despised, while struggling with her lack of confidence in this arranged match. Sakshi, Rishank’s sister, manipulates the situation by pressuring Bhavya’s family into buying extravagant outfits for Rishank. When Bhavya requests reconsideration, Sakshi insists on an expensive bridal suit, asserting it’s a must for the wedding.
To further humiliate Bhavya, Sakshi deliberately gives her an ill-fitting engagement dress, making her appear heavier. Though Bhavya’s aunt helps alter it to fit better, Sakshi’s schemes don’t end there. During the engagement, she orchestrates a power outage and attempts to tear Bhavya’s dress, leading to cruel mockery from guests and photographers as Bhavya struggles in discomfort.
Witnessing her distress, Rishank steps in, shielding her from the humiliation and insisting she change into something comfortable. Once dressed in a beautiful outfit, Bhavya returns—only to question Rishank again if he truly wants this marriage over his past relationship. He reassures her, but his forced composure leaves Bhavya unconvinced, unable to trust his words.
