Nitin takes his son, Rishank, to their boutique, hoping he will embrace the family business and carry forward their legacy. However, Rishank, still reeling from the closure of his gym, feels lost and uncertain about his future in the saree trade. Nitin urges him to learn the business and also dig deeper into the background of Bhavya’s fiancé, Madhur, as their marriage was arranged hastily.
On the day of Bhavya’s engagement, Madhur is conspicuously absent, causing tension. Nitin arrives with his family (except his wife) for the ceremony, only for Rishank to realize he forgot the gift—a Maheshwari saree—that his father had asked him to bring. Bua Maa, dismissive of Bhavya’s feelings, suggests Rishank simply take another gift from the pile. Unbeknownst to him, Akshat has tampered with the package, replacing it with a fancy dress costume.
When Nitin insists on showcasing Rishank’s gift, the embarrassing reveal sparks anger. Rishank lies, claiming it was a mix-up, but his father is disappointed yet again. To save face, Bhavya graciously accepts the dress and even wears it, diffusing the tension momentarily.
Madhur’s absence grows more suspicious. Nitin questions Rishank about his findings, but even Madhur’s parents are clueless. When Bhavya checks his location, she realizes—he isn’t coming. The engagement hangs in uncertainty, exposing hidden tensions, family pressures, and looming betrayals.
