Kalyani returns home after meeting Ketki and while Devika feels that the distance between the sisters will fill the gap between them, Kalyani feels otherwise and informs her mother that Ketki has taken up drinking and is unable to handle her success.
Later, Kalyani meets Karan’s father for the first time but is thoroughly disappointed as he does not approve of her and wants Karan to marry a girl of his choice instead. Upset, Kalyani decides to end her relationship with Karan and wants Karan to do as his father desires.
Years passes and Ketki earns success but spends a lonely life without her family. Krishna starts to refer to Kalyani as his mother and seeing this, Ketki feels bad. Ketki bring toyys for Krishna but he refues to play with it and she goes to protima and drink wine.. Protima as usval brainwash her mind and ask her to win Shanti award for playback singer.
Some days passes and winner of shanti award declares and this tym Ketki and Kalyani both win and kalyani dedicate award to Krishna; shocking ketki.
