Aayi asks Kalyani if she went for a job with Sohrab which Devaki rejected. Kalyani says yes as she wanted to help Devaki in arranging money for Kanishk’s operation, job is very easy and she will get money on a daily basis. Aayi gets emotional and says she grew up so early and hugs her.

Devaki serves food to family at night. Ketki gets happy seeing her favorite sabudana khichdi, tastes it and says something is missing. Kalyani says it is tasty. Ketki says ground nut pieces are missing. Devaki says she did not add ground nut purposefully to make her realize that small things matter in life. She says she can join dance class. Ketki says fees is 5 rs per month. Devaki says not to worry about fees. Ketki happily hugs her.

Kalyani attends shooting next day. Sohrab gives her envelope. She thanks him and keeps it in bag. He asks if she will not check envelope. She says she trusts him.

Devaki goes to job and owner says her devar has come to stay with them for some days. Devar says he came here for 1 month and if she will nto mind. Devaki says no and goes to prepare breakfast.

After shooting, Sohrab tells Kalyani that producer wants to take her in next feature film and she will get lots of money, shooting will be on Saturdays and Sundays so that children don’t miss school. She says thank you. He says children of her age jump if they get chance to act. He says he wants her to become a big actress as he sees talent in her like her father, her father did not want success, but she should. She says after she arranges 7000 rs for Kanishk’s operation, she will leave this job. Sohrab says let us see at that time. She asks what if someone sees picture and informs aayi or aaji. He says it is a village and new films will come after 5-6 years, so she need not worry.

Kalyani reaches home at night and tells Aayi what Sohrab told. Aayi asks if Sohrab takes care of her. Kalyani says yes and anyways everyone is so busy that nobody bothers each other. Aayi says she will accompany her for shooting. Kalyani says no.

Ketki practices dance and tells aayi that her dance teacher did not select her for dance function and selected old student, so she will not go for practice. Aayi asks if she does not dance well. Ketki says she learned all dance moves easily. Aayi encourages her to attend class. Next day at class teacher tells she needs 6 girls to dance behind lead dancer and if they dance well, they can dance along with lead dancer. Ketki gets happy.

Devaki continues cooking in kitchen. Owner’s brother comes and insists to help her. She says no need. He forcefully helps her and starts chatting with her forcefully. She feels uneasy and says she wil do her work. He goes to wash her hands and then looks at her lustfully. Devaki gets afraid seeing his moves.

Precap: Kalyani does mistakes during shooting. Owner’s brother tries to touch Devaki and she slaps him.
