Aayi says people that her granddaughter and grandson will perform Rajaram’s last rights. They all say it is a sin. Aayi asks they are sinners as they did not come to see Rajaram’s last act. They all leave saying they will not be part of sin except Sohrab and traitor Ananth and his son. Aayi lets Raja’s son and Kalyani perform last rights.
After last rights, they all come home. Ananth says Raja sold Ranga sangeet to Shyamrao. Sohrab asks papers. Ananth says Shyamrao will return in 1-2 days. Sohrab asks what about money. Ananth says Raja had taken a lot of debt, so he cleared it and did not let anyone come near home. Aayi says he is talking as if he is raja Harishchandra’s sixth son. Ananth says he is there to take care of family’s needs. Devika says she knows to take care of her family and does not need his help. Sohrab asks him to leave.
At night, relatives tell Devika that they will leave at night. Devika says last bus has gone and next bus is in the morning. They say they will stay at busstand. Ananth’s wife says she has big house with 2 big rooms and they can stay there. Ayi says her heart is big, so they can stay in room while she and children sleep outside and asks Ananth’s wife to go.
Sohrab asks Devika to call him if she needs anything and sleeps in other side of lawn while Devika and family sleeps on one side. Son wakes up and cries that he needs baba/Raja. Devika picks him and tries to console. Kalyani reminisces Raja consoling son singing Suryami ankiyon me…song. She picks brother and signs song. Family starts crying. Sohrab thinks Raja is still alive in Kalyani.
Devika wakes up in the morning and does not find Aayi. She goes out searching her and finds her near lake and crying vigorously. Aayi says she could not save her son and leaving away for 4 years came back to see his death, etc.. Devika consoles her and says she cried in her lap, but forgot that she also lost her son and is also in pain.
Precap: Devika warns Ananth to get out of her house, else she will kill him. Kalyani and Ketki sing song. Ananth’s wife shouts to stop as it is abshagun.
