And now to the story
Previously: Sanchi loses her key in kabirs coat.
She stealthily walks into kabirs cabin. She sees his coat on the chair. She is about to search the pocket but kabir enters
Kabir: what do you think you are doing
Sanchi: uhm…there was something on your coat. I was just cleaning it. See…
She starts dusting it
Kabir snatches the coat from her
Kabir: why are you in my cabin
Sanchi: I …..uh….came to ask you details about the surgery. I wanted to be prepared. And sir (she snatches the coat) you should always be well dressed. After all you are of the most reputed doctors of our hospital.
She starts dusting it again and check the pocket
Kabir snatches it back
Kabir: it’s clean
Sanchi snatches, “then let me keep it back
The push and pull goes on and in between the key falls down. Sanchi looks on horrified. Kabir also looks down to see what Sanchi is looking but a foot steps on it. Both look up to find veer grinning at them
Veer: what’s going on
Sanchi leaves the coat, “ ok, it’s your coat , do whatever you want”
Kabir, to veer, “and what do you want”
Veer: well, thought I would wish you a good afternoon
Just then Riya also enters. She looks on surprised to see three standing awkwardly
Kabir: now what do you want dr Riya. Is this a public restroom or my cabin
Riya: well, I (she looks at veer and Sanchi hesitantly)..I’ll come later
Veer: what’s that in your hands. Did my sister cook something for dr kabir. So rude. You never cooked anything ever for your brother. And you are not even ready to share it with me
Riya fumes but puts on a smile.
Riya: oh this, these are just cookies. I was going to share it with my teammates.
She opens them and serves each with a cookie. She insists kabir to have one more cookie. Veer also tries to take one but Riya snatches it away. Kabir thanks her and leaves his cabin.
SM: you should also leave
Veer: you leave first
SM looks at his foot, “ no you leave first”
Veer: ok let’s leave together.
SM looks on worried
Veer looks at his foot. He bends down to tie his lace. He slowly takes out the key and shows her
Veer: are you looking for this?
Sanchi: how did you know
Veer: veer knows everything. Nothing ever escapes from me.
She tries to get the key and he has a nice time trying to snatch it back. He takes it to left and right and she moves along with his movement. He takes it behind his head. And again moves it left and right. She also puts her hand around his shoulders and tried to get the key. He holds it in the middle and she stops in the middle, which means now her face is close to his. They share an eye lock

Sanchi gets away embarrassed

He walks away smirking. Sanchi follows him eating the cookie

She runs away. Veer also runs behind not knowing what happened. Sanchi asks a nurse about dr kabir and rushes to find him. They find him half fainted on the floor in dr awasthi’s cabin.
Sanchi: golu, golu please wake up. Don’t lose your consciousness
Kabir looks on, his vision blurred
Sm: veer, please arrange a stretcher. She removes a few of his buttons and wipes his forehead and face with her shawl. They lay him on the bed in dr awasthis cabin. Nurse Fernandez also rushes in. Sanchi asks veer to get some anti allergy injection. She instructs NF on his treatment
Sm: he’s got peanut allergy. These rashes are from them. How can he be so silly. Cant he identify the taste of peanut and avoid it.
She keeps own ranting worried. Veer gives him the injection and puts him to test.
Kabir regains consciousness later.
Nurse Fernandez: thank God you are ok. You worried us all.
Kabir: what happened
NF: you got allergy from eating peanut. Thank God dr Mishra identified your symptoms easily. Else it could have worsened
K: how did she know about my allergy. And when did I eat peanut.
NF: it’s from the cookies. Dr. Sanchi was right. You still can’t identify the taste of peanut.
Kabir gets up to leave
NF: you need to rest for a while.
Kabir: where is dr. Sanchi
NF: in the children’s ward.
Kabir goes and grabs Sanchi and drags her to the nurses station in the ward.
SM: are you ok. You should be resting.

He holds her both arms

Kabir leaves her. He leaves angrily.

Kabir sits in his cain. He remembers fainting and someone calling him out . Bit he has only blurred vision of her face
Kabir: who was it. It was not my dream. Why does this girl affect me so much. I must be crazy, why am I even thinking about her.
Its surgery time. Sanchi assists kabir in his surgery. Kabir notices with how much concentration and dedication she is working. He is impressed with her skills. They get out of the OT.
Kabir: good job dr Sanchi
Sanchi stares in amazement
Kabir: what?
SM: wow, you even know how to acknowledge others. I thought you only knew hoe to stay khadoos.
Kabir glares at her. But she gives him a huge ear to ear grin. A small smile appears on his face as she leaves. Outside Sanchi is walking carelessly when she collides with a ward boy and is about to fall, but her knight in shining armour saves her from falling
Veer: careful miss golgappa. Watch where you are going
Sm: thanku
Veer hands her a box, “ this is for you
Sanchi: wat is this
Veer: congrats on your first surgery
Sanchi opens to find a new stethoscope
Sm: so you know to spend also. Thanku, I’ll use it well
She leaves happily. Veer smiles at her. Sanchi comes across Riya on phone.
Riya: I’ll signal you when Sanchi comes out of the gate. You know hat to do na? I don’t want her near my kabir again. So take care of her
Sanchi looks on horrified. What does she mean. Was she talking of Sanchi, but Sanchi and kabir..how is it possible.
SM rushes out of the hospital. She sees SA crossing the road and an ambulance rushing towards her. She runs and pushes SA out of the way. But she herself is too shocked to move away. She stands there her eyes shut tightly , anticipating the worst. Suddenly she hears a thud and opens her eyes to see Veer lying in front of her in a pool of blood. She feels like the soil under her feet is floating away. Veer is rushed into the hospital. Kabir is worried if SA is ok. He checks on her and goes to veer. SM waits outside the OT with tears in her eyes. SA comes towards her and consoles her. But SM just angrily jerks away her hand and leaves. SA sits there guiltily. SM prays for veer. She remembers all the good times with veer. She promises that she will not argue with veer and will always buy him food whenever he asks. Please just make him fine. I won’t even complain about his nagging.
