Sanchi is looking for some file in the record room. Veer comes in. Sanchi is startled by him.
Veer: Sanchi we need to talk
SM: not now, I’m busy
Veer: really, running away from me. Is this how you run away from the truth
SM: what are you saying…stop wasting my time. You seem ok. You should report back for duty
Veer: why are you avoiding me
SM: why would I avoid you. It’s just that I have been busy lately
Veer: then why don’t you look in my eyes while talking. Are you afraid you’ll get lost in them
SM: very funny….
Suddenly they here someone coming and veer takes her to hide. They hide between a shelf and a wall. There’s little space. So they squeeze in
SM: why are we hiding
Veer: shh…
Riya enters.
Riya on call: listen to me carefully. No one should know I asked you to do the accident . I’m keeping your package here. Get it when no one is around. And delete my number from your phone. And don’t you dare tell anyone about me.
Sanchi is horrified. Veer can feel her hot breath on his chest. He gapes. Sanchi looks out if it’s safe to get out. She practically freaks out and rests her fore head on his chest with a sigh.
Ek dil hai
Ek jaan hai
Dono tujhpe…
Dono tujhpe qurbaan hain
Veer tries hard to control himself. His heart escapes a beat. He tightens his fist. Sanchi realises what she is doing and takes her head away. She looks at him and gets lost in his intense eyes. Her heart starts To flutter.
Ek main hoon, ek imaan hai
Dono tujhpe haan tujhpe
Dono tujhpe qurbaan hain
Ek dil hai…
She can’t take it any more and covers his eyes with her palm. He slowly holds her palm and moves her hand down. He again looks at her. She raises the other hand but he holds it too. He twists it behind her waist.
Veer: if you are really going to come close (he pulls her towards him) then come closer
Aa…
Ishq bhi tu mera pyar bhi tu
Meri baat zaat jazbaat bhi tu
Parwaaz bhi tu rooh-e-saaz bhi tu
Meri saans nabz aur hayaat bhi tu
Vser pins her first hand to the wall and gives a slight peck on her lips. He clocks her reaction. Sanchi has her eyes closed. Now her heart beat has increased. She stands there frozen. Veer smiles and releases her hands. He cups her face and goes in for a real kiss. They kiss passionately until they are out of breath. Sanchi is all blushing and is shy to look at veer. Veer moves his face closer and whispers in her ear , “ I know what you want to say. I love you too…sanchi “
Mera raaz bhi tu
Pukhraj bhi tu
Meri aas pyaas aur libaas bhi tu
Meri jeet bhi tu, meri haar bhi tu
Mera kaaj raaj aur mizaaj bhi tu…
He hugs her and she rest in his arms. They stay there in their tiny space, lost in each others embrace.
Sanchi is all smiles during her entire duty. Kabir notices her happy facade and is smiling too.
Nurse Fernandez comes to Sanchi and gives her key back
NF: dr. Kabir wanted me to give this to you.
Sanchi gets thinking.
In the record room, the ambulance driver enters when none is around. His gets his package and counts the money. He leaves the room stealthily, but is shocked to see everyone gathered outside. He tries to run but veer gets hold of him
Veer: aise bhi kya jaldi hain Bhai Saab. Look who’s here to meet you
He hands him over to the police. Riya slowly tries to escape. But someone trips her and make her fall. She looks up, (cameo by isha)
Isha: oops, sorry. Tum ghiri hui lag rahi hain.
The lady constables get hold of her
Inspector: you both are arrested I murder attempt of dr Sanchi agarwal, dr veer malhotra
Riya screams: I didn’t want to kill her. I only wanted to hurt her. That’s it. Because she was getting close to my kabir. Veer, veer, please get me out of this
Veer: you have crossed all limits
Riya: tum mere Bhai hokar in logon ka saath kyu de rahe hon. Veer..Veer….
Veer: don’t worry, I’ll have to send the bail papers anyway. But I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen quick..
Kabir leaves from there. SM looks on. She follows him to his cabin.
Sanchi shows the key in her hand. Kabir takes out the box. He opens it . He finds a ring in it.
Kabir gets teary eye seeing it
Kabir:…ma…
SM: its kusum aunty’s ring. I knew you always held it close because it made you feel close to her. It was your lucky charm. You felt it was actually a blessing for you. And I wanted this blessing to be with you always. You threw it away angrily thinking aunty had left you because she didn’t love you. That’s why I locked it in this box and returned it to you when you left with savitri aunty. I wanted your lucky charm to be always with you.
Kabir cries: I was really sad thinking of what I did. I had misunderstood ma. But when I realised , it was too late. I thought I lost this. But ma’s blessings were always with me. The thing that was most important to me, the thing I thought I have lost for ever, all this while I was holding close to my heart. Thanks to you, I always carried the blessings of two moms.
Kabir looks on at other items in the box. He finds his and sanchi’s photo from childhood. Behind it she has written a poem:

Kabir smiles through his tears.
Sanchi hugs him and pats him on the back.
SM: take care golu.
She leaves his cabin. She finds veer waiting outside.
Sanchi: mmhh?
Veer pouts.
Sanchi: wow, you look cute like that. Can I take a photo
Veer: what were you doing in there
Sanchi: I went to invite him for lunch. But seems he is not hungry
Veer pouts again
Sm: care for lunch
Veer: am I your backup.
Sm: you always insist on buying food. Now what when I’m buying
Veer: I don’t want food meant for someone else
Sm: hai my jealous boyfriend looks so cute
She bites her tongue and moves faster

They slowly fade away
Veer: acha buy me food then
Sm: my mind changed.
Veer: ok then I’ll buy you . Come with me.
He pulls her away but she goes opposite. Finally he picks her up and goes…” hai meri teekhi golgappa..I love you..”
