Shashidhar warns Jahnvi that he will take their case to village’s mukhiya and after hearing them both let the mukhiya decide. Jahnvi agrees, Shashidhar says let us go tomorrow then. Bhama tells Jahnvi that this village’s mukhiya is Kulkarni who will definitely speak against her as Sai is supporting her. Sai says people’s opinion may change over time, who knows Kulkarni may give proper judgement.
Next day, Shashidhar, Savi, and Jahnvi meet Kulkarni and describe whole story. Kulkarni says baby belongs to husband and wife and not maid. Jahnvi pleads she is Shashidhar’s wife and not maid and baby is hers. Sai watches everything on fire pit in Dwarkamayi. Kulkarni says he will not trust a maid. Sathe ji walks in and asks -Kulkarni how can he give judgment so irrationally, is this the way he gives justice; they all know that women are ill treated, Kulkarni should investigate the matter properly and give justice, and if Kulkarni can’t he will. Baizamaa assures Jahnvi that she will get justice now. Satheji asks where is Sai. Mhalsapati says Sai told he is not needed there and everybody knows nobody can question Sai, but he feels its Sai’s wish that Satheji came here. Sai watches everything on fire pit.
Satheji says Srikanth explained him whole issue, before he can start the procedure, he wants the baby in his hands. He sits on Kukarni’s seat holding baby and says it is easy to identify mother’s baby as only mother can know baby better; he will questions both Jahnvi and Savi to understand issue better. Savi gets tensed while Jahnvi agrees. Kulkarni tells Satheji that he is wasting time here. Satheji says reuniting baby with mother is a sacred deed. He says every mother knows baby’s birth mark or any defect and asks Savi what she knows about baby. Savi says baby has a mole on his left shoulder. Satheji checks and says there is one. Savi gets happy and says she is baby’s real mother. Jahnvi says shoulder mole can be seen easily, there are other marks also and says he has a very light mark on his foot sole. Satheji checks and says yes. Jahnvi says baby likes bangle sound and anyone can check. A lady checks and says yes. Jahnvi says baby has a scratch on his back incurred while coming to Shirdi. Satheji says this woman’s all evidences are true, so it proves she is baby’s mother. Shashidhar says Jahnvi is their maid, so she knows everything about baby, truth is baby is his wife’s. Jahnvi says she hired Savi as maid and since she was ill, she let baby with Savi. Kulkarni says both women are alleging each other, but husband is identifying Savi as his wife. Satheji says he is convinced with him. Kulkarni says that is what he was saying.
