Digambar’s wife guides him on making Khichdi, she offers to help him but he doesn’t allow. Gauri offers to help Santosh, Santosh says Sai has asked me so I will cook. Gauri starts guiding him and he cooks.
Neelkanth sees Digambar listening to his wife Rachana, and says atleast he is cooking for someone and listening to his wife. Rachana asks him to use less masala. Digambar says to her, he is poor man and let him have masala and lot of vegetables, he will be happy and praise me and I will be free from here.
Gauri asks Santosh to add more masala. Santosh says he is poor man probably he never has had so much masala, may be he won’t like Khichdi and his health may ruin too. Gauri says but this is very less. Santosh says don’t worry.
Sai taking Bhiksha. The shop
Sai walks with the vendor Ratan to Patil’s house. Patil greets Sai. Patil recognises Ratan. Sai asks how do you know eachother. Patil says once we were on our way back to Shirdi and Baiza’s health started deteriorating, Ratan saw us in problem and helped us by opening his shop late night and cooked food for her and it helped her health. Sai tells Patil, Ratan is in problem as his shop got shut. Patil says Ratan has helped me how can I not help him, I will look after his family till his shop opens. Ratan says to Patil I don’t want to trouble you.
Sai says to Ratan, there isn’t problem here, you helped selflessly and now someone wants to help you allow it. Patil says Ratan if you feel awkward about accepting help, just pass on this help whenever you can and it will be balanced. Ratan thanks Sai.
Digambar gets Khichdi to Bhiku and serves him and says I cooked delicious khichdi with masala and vegetables, you never must have tasted. Santosh walks in and serves khichdi and says here simple khichdi the way you would like it. Digambar says I brought it first so taste mine first.
Bhiku tastes khichdi made my Digambar and has water and says this has lot of masala it burnt my mouth. Digambar says may be because you never had masala khichdi before. Bhiku says you made this for me but sorry if I eat this my stomach will get upset. Santosh says I knew you would not want masala khichdi and so cooked simple khichdi for you. Bhiku tastes it and says there is no taste in this, I am sorry you made it for me but it tastes like someone has just boiled dal and rice. I don’t know why Sai sent me here even after there are two people I can’t have food. Sai walks in and says you will eat this khichdi, mix them together and you can have a tasty khichdi.
Gauri, Rachana and Neelkanth watch them through window.
Bhiku has mixed khichdi and says this is very tasty. Sai tells him this is called balance, when you add spices and other things in balance you get a perfect food and this is also applicable in life and says to Digambar and Santosh, tell me when you find someone who appreciates you and I hope you do this work of managing this place properly.
Digambar annoyed visits Sai, Sai asks him to lift grinder and keep it inside. Digambar lifts it and about to keep it down. Sai says keep it down carefully. Digambar says I can’t its very, Sai says it will break if you throw it. Santosh walks in, Sai asks him to go help Digambar. Santosh takes it from his hand and keeps it down carefully. Sai asks him to shift it ahead but Santosh unable to lift it. Sai says let it be and walks to them and says have you two learned something from this – Digambar can take decision but doesn’t have patience, and Santosh on other hand has patience but doesn’t have decision making confidence, now think if you mix these qualities in balance, your life will be much sorted.
Digambar says to Sai, I am happy the way I am just let me go from here. Santosh says I have lot of work please let me go as well. Sai says to them I haven’t stopped you two but you two haven’t completed my condition. Digambar says we have tried but Bhiku didn’t like it. Sai says Digambar you no patience made you add lot of masala and Santosh’s habit of not taking decisions made less tasty khichdi. Digambar says I am happy the way I am, you have wrong impression of me because of my father, he doesn’t understand me and wants a coward son like Santosh. Santosh says I am facing similar issues, Gauri doesn’t understand me and she likes someone like Digambar and wants me to be like him, which I don’t want to.
Sai says to them, okay lets do one thing, someone will come to you with some work and if you to do it, I will ask Gauri and Neelkanth to go back and leave Shirdi.
A man passing on cart, splashes water by mistake on Santosh and Digambar. Digambar yells at him and says can’t you be careful. He says to him, can’t you see properly walk, you just have your shoes stained and looks at Santosh and says he is quiet even when he has mud all over him. Gauri sees that and thinks Santosh doesn’t stand for himself too and look at Digambar he is so vocal about injustice he faces. Neelkanth looks at them and thinks Santosh is so calm unlike my son.
Digambar starts yelling and says do you know who I am, I can take away your cart. The cart owner begs him not to do so. Digambar leaves.
